Two bottles of colonels pride. Both for a grand total of 13.40. I have an experiment in the works. :)

Party at Hightower's

State of Origin......Wednesday night..(sorta like the Super Bowl to us).....Scott drank too much Rare Breed. I hope I can drink it again.

Bloody good effort there Scotty, going by your favouritism for turkey i think the bird will rise again, kinda like a phoenix. :skep:

Shame we didn't whitewash this years series - there's always next year!!! :hot:

Talked to the local manager Stuart at Binny's in Plainfield and he told me that they had one bottle of Pappy 15 left and the loop store had a couple then it's all gone from the channel...well now Binny's in Plainfield is out as I had to pick one up for the bunker...I also picked up 2 bottle of Lot B. $42.50 for the Pappy 15 and $38.00 for the Lot B are too good of prices to pass up. :)

It was actually yesterday, but I nabbed a bottle of OGD BIB on the way to FishFest (a cancer benefit music festival in Wisconsin Rapids.) They had beer but if you wanted cocktails or whatnot you had to bring your own fixins. So I figured it was a good time to try the OGD BIB as I had never had it and I was looking for something $15 or so to take up to share. It's a good solid bourbon for the money.

Howdy All:

Did not know Binny's had a 15% off weekend. But while in Chicago picked up the 20yo Pappy's, I seem to really like this bourbon but am just a newbie and need to try many more.

Tony, indeed...try more! The Pappy is very good. Any large liqour store...like a Binny's, Sams and others around the country can wow you with the selection available....like a kid in a candy store....a very expensive candy store!

Well,

You've ruined it for yourself:slappin: Now that you've had Pappy's 20 it's all downhill from there. There's still fun in the hunt, but I think you'll be hard-pressed to find better bourbon on the market today.

I have bottle of Pappy 20 in the bunker...I'm working my way up to it...finally opened the Pappy 15 this past weekend...WOW that is some good stuff! It has a little more heat then I'm used to as I normally stick with 90 proof bourbons, but the flavor of that stuff is just outstanding!
