The '92 EC 18 has made it to some of the Binny's stores, 5-15-92 if I recall correctly. I'm going to pick one up this weekend at $49.99 but need to use some willpower and let it sit for a while with way too many others open. Some of the Binny's still have some of the Brett and Joe barrel selected bottles also, which I think were from '91 made JUICE :grin:.

Charter 101 for 14.99. Holy cow is this a good pour at that price! Lots of sweetness with some interesting clove & cinammon too. Some bite and burn, but for the price I'd give it a big thumbs up.

Totally agree.

People were ranking on it like mad on this forum, but the plastic traveler that a friendly traveler brought back from Kentucky this summer was one of my favorite little surprises of the year.

Got a Lot B from a newly discovered store that had a bottle, and also my first bottle of Fighting Cock. I like it very much based on a one swallow parking lot taste test :cool: and will be buying more.

I don't drink black tea so I don;t have much frame of reference. I get maybe a little tobacco aftertaste, but it could aslo be what you are describing.

Was in Chi-Town celebrating New Year's and made my first ever trip to Binny's. Found a bottle of Four Roses 120th Anniversary and also picked up a bottle of Whistlepig. I was really wanting to get some Binny's Selection BT, but was getting dirty looks from the wife...

I must say I'm jealous of our Chicagoan SB.com'ers. Binny's had quite a selection including a couple things we don't get in KY, BTAC & a Pappy 20 sitting around, along with some great single barrel selections. I often pass through Chicago to visit family in Wisconsin and will have to schedule Binny's stops more often.

Traveled up through Georgia yesterday and purchased 2 items I had not ever purchased, as I have never seen them here in Florida. This store had a pretty good selection, including a bottle of GTS I passed on because of price ($79.99)

Shoot me a pm if you want more. I walked into a store asking about van winkle about 3 weeks ago and all they had was lot b. They were keeping it all behind the counter. I passed because I was looking for something a little more stout.

I nabbed a couple of 4/5 quart 8/86 Beams' Choice decanters. One is a 66/74 and I'm not sure on the other, but it's about the same. This is some very tasty juice- suprisingly so.

Picked up my 2x ETL 15 and 2x FR LE 2010 from SV today One of my FRs is bottle number 15. I don't think I have ever had a numbered release that low! While I was out, I added 2x Pappy 20 from PA and 3x OFBB 2008. I think this puts the bunker over 200 unopened, so I might need to slow down a bit (after the 01 EWSB of course ).

Guy at Bevmo told me to go to total wine in Tempe, had a case of the 12,15, 20 and 23. Bought 3 bottles of the 15. Might get a bottle of the 20.

64.99 for 15, 109.99 for 20 and 249 for 23.

Snagged a George T Stagg in Avon, Co. I live in KY, but have to travel to CO to purchase "hard to find" bourbons...go figure. I was at a liquor store that had 2 bottles of Stagg and one bottle of Weller. I went w/ the Stagg considering I recently purchased a Weller 12 yr.
