hectic1
Stopped at a couple stores today and found a ND OGD 86 375ml from 91 and a OFBB 07...I saved them both from spending more time on the shelf...they now can hang out with their buddies in my bunker! flintlock
Went on a long (fruitless) dusty hunt 2 hours from home. No dust, but I found a source of Stagg, Handy and Lot B for future reference. Decided to get 3 bottles I'd been meaning to try and could find in my town: Benchmark 8, E.T. Lee, which I really look forward to trying, and Charter 101 which I picked up at a great price. (It's delicious - far better than Charter 10 year.)
stillmaster
UPS delivered to my doorstep today, PHC 2010, and JRPS 17 batch 1 from SV. 2 more JRPS on the way.Mike

sailor22
A Lot B followed me home today. Somehow, there weren't any in the bunker. Just too easy to drink.
smokinjoe
During my travels this week, I picked up a Family Size BT, McScrooge's latest SB of OWA, McScrooge's SB pick of FR Barrel Strength OESQ, and Weller 12.
Virus_Of_Life
Wasn't planning on it, but since it seems to be on it's death bed and I'd regret not doing it; I grabbed the last two bottles of Pappy15 I knew of around me.
MaltNut
but I found a source of Stagg,...Charter 101 ... (It's delicious - far better than Charter 10 year.)Score on Stagg, that is great bourbon (I wish more bourbon came unfiltered and at cask strength)+1 on the Charter 101 assessment (I prefer it to the 8 and 10y as well) ... Anybody know how old it is?

bourbonNOOG
Was in Birmingham for business last week. Stopped at the abc store and picked up a WTRB to enjoy while i was away from my stash at home. Saw my first WT Tradition on the shelf. Passed on it at $115. Seemed reasonable but unfortunately it wasn't in the budget for this month. I almost pulled the trigger but then thought about all the verbal abuse I would have gotten from the misses. Damnit to hell!
M14Shooter
Picked up two three packs of EC-18 for $29.99 a bottle.I could not pass up a deal like that.Mike
Gillman
Maker's Mark, because I tasted some at a friend's the other night and liked it. But this bottle seems different. It has an older-seeming profile, good woody notes, but little depth, it's hard to tease out other flavors. Gary

One around 900(s) and the second barrel was in the 600(s). Did pick up some different notes, but pretty close in profile. Found a stock of barrel 55, so I will probably pick one more up. Medicfrost
Wasn't planning on it, but since it seems to be on it's death bed and I'd regret not doing it; I grabbed the last two bottles of Pappy15 I knew of around me.I thought it was going away also since it's becoming impossible to find, and I haven't had a bottle in my medicine cabinet in months, so I asked ORVW, and got a nice response:Dear Adrian:All of our whiskey is in short supply, especially the 15 year. We still produce it but it is hard to find. Where do you live? Our next allocation comes out in March/April.Thanks very much for your business.Regards,Julian Van WinkleJulian P. whitejc1
I picked up a bottle of PVW 15 today. There are only about two pours left in my PVW 15 at home so I really wanted to replace it. The store also had one ORVW 10/107, one PVW 20 and one PVW 23. I'm good on the ORVW and the 20yo, can't afford the 23yo, so my bar is back to an acceptable level. A liquor store manager said they are getting three cases of the KCSB tomorrow. I might have to sneak over there and pick one up.
jcg9779
I picked up two bottles of Thomas H. Handy today. I've never had it before and the store had two bottles (I hadn't seen it in any other store around me). I was just going to buy one bottle, but decided that it was worth buying the second in case I really liked it. I didn't want to go back to the store and find it sold out! ggilbertva
Did some shopping in MD today and picked up the following: VWFRR for $59 each WTAS for $65 each Paddy Irish for $27 each The WTAS surprised me that they had it listed for that price. The cashier at first balked at selling them to me for $65 so she had to call the owner to confirm.
