jeanraulmitchell
Did you try any? I always try a small amount right after vatting to have a starting point for future pours once the vatting has some bottle time to "marry".Yeah, I tried a few variations before I filled an old 750mL bottle with 50% of each. I'll taste it again tonight. It was quite good last night too.

drunk
After months of searching, I finally got my first dusty over the weekend - EWSB 1996! I'm going to change my name to hectic2. Eat your heart out Bob.
yountvillewjs
I picked up a Willett 3 year rye to go with the 5 yr I grabbed a few weeks back. I've been a fan of the 3 (esp. in Manhattans) for awhile, but have started to notice them getting scarcer locally. Wanted to try them side by side -- see if there is a noticeable difference, but moreover, a personal preference.

TheDude
Took a rare day off today and decided to go dusty hunting.... Found a ORVW 10/90, which is a pretty good day considering the rare occurance of any VW product on the shelf these days.But...on my last stop of the day, I found a lonely bottle of A.H. Hirsch 16 year, gold foil. Best of all, it was priced below $50 bucks. All, in all, it was a memorable day off!

Eat your heart out Bob.Good find! I have a couple of those and find it very interesting in that it has a unique, nutty flavor that I don't get in HH products otherwise. I highly recommend grabbing any bottles of '97 that you find - that's been my favorite so far.
