jkater1
Quite a haul. How many places did you have to hit up for that find?Just one, ended up cleaning them out. Every time I had then pull a bottle off the shelf the others looked lonely, next thing you know they were all in my car.Sent from my PG86100 using Tapatalk
MarkEdwards
Lucked into one each of LotB, PVW 20, PVW 23 and PVW Rye; rounded out by a bottle of Dewar's Signature 'marryed' scotch; two bottles of Marie Duffau Armagnac; a couple of nice ales. Tucker
Dropped off some dry cleaning after a long business trip and stopped by my local store for a quick look. Nothing much of interest (never is, but I lucked into some Pappy there a few years ago). I did notice that all the WSR now has "90 Proof" on the neck rather than "Aged 7 Years". All, that is, but one handle hidden in the back of the row. So I bought it. Not that I need it, but what the hell, it was only $20.

Flyfish
Rittenhouse 100AAA 10YOA handle each of:VOB 100OWAWT 101And a very pleasant surprise--Kirkland Small Batch 7 YO at Costco. The Kirkland is evidently made by Beam and at $20/liter for 103 proof I think it is a genuine bargain. The nose opens up nicely after a few minutes in the glass. I get the usual caramel and vanilla, then some cloves and a strong shot of honey. The mouthfeel is quite full--which is important to me. And it improves with just a couple drops of water. (Haven't tried it on the rocks yet.) A sip or two reveals some orange peel, coarsely ground black pepper as well as the spices found in fruit cake. Next time I'm at a Costco that sells spirits, I'll be getting more.

Okie
After purchasing some of the higher end pours I took to the bottom shelves of a store I have not been to before. Brought home with me a JW Dant BIB DSP-KY-31, Old Forester Signature BIB, and a Rebel Yell (just for the hell of it). Bunkering back the Forester and Rebel, but cracked open the Dant. Must say, this is a pretty good pour. I'm pleasantly suprised. On the way back, stopped by one of my usuals and grabbed an EZra B Single Barrel. Its bunkered back too until I clear out some of the open bottles.
dohidied
Grabbed an OWA and a WSR. The OWA is for some SB Blend with W12. The WSR is for the hell of it. I've never tried it, so I might as well buy one before the NAS starts showing up.
