GaryT
Somehow these bottles jumped in the car with us on the way back from a family vacation. How come my vacations don't end this way??? I'm doing something way wrong . . . Or I'm in the wrong family! I was happy to pick up a WL Weller 12 yr (which I'm apparently late to the party on - this is the first time I've seen one?) and a Col EH Taylor barrel proof (134.5 proof). The CEHT's seal didn't last 5 minutes when I got home, and it was worth every penny!

jeanraulmitchell
An overpriced ORVW10 107 in Beverly Hills. Kind of shocked to see it anywhere in Los Angeles, so I paid about $13 too much for it. I'm sure my pleasure will be worth it. JPBoston
Just picked up some OWA --- this bottle is even better then the last I had a month or so ago. I get the wheated sweetness... but also picking up more of the barrel oak-ness, giving it almost a hint of rye spice. Not nearly as 'simple' as my last bottle, as that one was almost pure thick/chewy sweetness with little else. Really enjoyed this first pour tonight. The CEHT's seal didn't last 5 minutes when I got home, and it was worth every penny! Wow, you and I are on the same page. WL Weller 12yr and a bottle of the EH Taylor Barrel Proof came home with me yesterday as well. I think you'll like the Weller 12 year, I find myself skipping the ORVW 107 to drink the Weller 12 yr. I will say, I had a rough day at the liquor store. In addition to the above which set me back about a $100 bucks, I found 5 bottles of a 2004 Tritono Malbac on a back shelf along with a 2000 Montelena Cab at a year 2000 price, great dusty finds, but it was another $200 bucks, but I've found that if you leave stuff you've been looking for on the shelf it's usually not there when you go back.
