After a long day of soccer, I was going to pass on bourbon tonight but my wife had other ideas. She brought me two blind samples to identify. I nailed one easily - EC12. The other I missed a little - I guessed Woodford and it was Angel's Envy. They taste similar to me anyway. Plus I had just ate some pizza. I gave in a poured some OWA.

RR10. I'm liking this, but not as much as Rare Breed. Similar flavors but without the punch of the higher proof.

Started with a glass of chardonnay with crab salad for dinner at Landry's, very oaky/buttery and quite good with the crab.

Back home hit some OFVS12, followed by my blend of 4RYL and OGDBIB 1 to 1, and right now some FC103. It's all good, now!

Just opened them all and the noses are a little closed. Pre-mature favorite is probably 10 year barrel 363.

I feel cheap ... but VOB BIB (neat) and VOB 80 proof (cocktails) are my current daily pours. I did polish off a half bottle of ETL (with friends) at my cigar club meeting this afternoon though ...
