GaryT
Decent pour of KC while playing in a charity poker tourney (good thing it was for charity because I was giving my chips away like no one's business )
DPPSmoker
I took a bottle of GTS to a buddy's house tonight. It blew him away. He must have thanked me 20 times. We sat on his back deck and looked down at the soybean field below. The deer were having a feast out there.
Old Dusty
Informal bourbon tasting/drinking w some nonSB friends. It was a mostly mid-shelf gathering but fun night. Angel's Envy, RR 10, EWSB,BT,MM,Bernheim, SB Blend, W12, Stetson, FRSB, OGD114,RittBIB, and the top shelfer was a PHC Blend of Mashbills. Plus a "Ray's Best Buy" made an appearance (the Indy folks will get the reference) Edited June 22, 2013 by Old Dusty

michaelturtle1
PHC 27, can't tell if I like it or not.... Started out way too woody, now I get almost zero wood on the palate... I will have to revisit this one.

AaronWF
Misery needs company, so I tried to enjoy some 2010 OFBB while my 3 month old bawled helplessly at my side for hours while the wife got a chance to relax out with friends. Now that she's home, I will toss back one more before a gracious faceplant wherever I may land.

OscarV
Had some good ones last night, we had dinner with Mike Veach (he autographed his book for us too) at Bourbons Bistro. Started with 4R1B on the rocks and ORVW 10/107 neat after dinner. Back at the hotel I had a Pappy 15yo, neat to cap off the night.
MyOldKyDram
I'd love to call this an "everyday pour" but have only a half bottle left. Nursing it along because it seems irreplaceable. Of course, the '01, '02, and '03s aren't bad. Almost imperceptibly less marvelous than the '00.

Jackinbox
Did a tasting at a friend's house last night.......Jefferson's Small Batch: Not bad, but nothing I'd run out and buy. I will have to try the Reserve at some point to see if I like it better.Black Maple Hill NAS: Really loved this stuff and I knew nothing about it until doing some research today. I was surprised about all the controversy regarding this brand. I had no idea regarding all the hype with this bourbon. I read some really interesting threads here from the past several years. I'm glad I tasted it before knowing because I probably would have wondered if the hype had affected my perception. I'll have to try to search out a bottle of this stuff but I understand it's in short supply.Colonel EH Taylor Small Batch: This was my favorite pour of the evening. Nice up front bite with a perfect finish.Wild Turkey Kentucky Spirit: Very good and in my opinion, better than the standard 101. I'll probably be picking up a bottle of this too.Elmer T. Lee: Didn't care for this at all. It was just too spicy for my taste.
