black mamba
Drinking my terrific new blend of 6 oz OFSig 100, 5 oz Stagg Jr. 133.2 and 4 oz 4RYL 80, for a final proof of 105.7 and a mashbill of 74/17/9.Citrus, leather, tobacco with a very drying structure of oak holding the whole thing together. Enjoyable as anything I am drinking these days.
corpse_welder
A buddy of mine who doesn't really like whiskey was given a bottle of Wild Turkey Spiced and I was given a bottle of wine for Christmas so we traded. I'm not sure what to make of this just yet but I hardly taste any WT at all. Still better than a bottle of wine
flahute
Took my wife out to dinner for her birthday to a very nice restaurant near our house that is known for it's wine list. We've been there before and I never paid attention to the small bar because it doesn't look to be well stocked. Tonight I decided to investigate and whaddya know, they have PVW 15, Lot B, and ORVW 10. The PVW 15 was a healthy 2 oz pour for $28 (very reasonable for around here) so I decided the festivity of the evening warranted it.
tigerlam92
Started early with a cabin still 1969. Wow. Haven't gone back to this for a while and it is really good. Fantastic nose and lots of flavors.

whiskeyagonzo
Having some 2013 OFBB. I know a lot of people like this one but it doesn't do it for me. I've finished about half the bottle and still don't like it. This one is being regulated to "guests that don't know any better" status. I have a friend who stops by on occasion who loves it so it will be consumed. :-)

Anex
Did a blind tasting today with a few guys. On the menu was ORVW, mid 2000's OWA 7/107, and three blends of new stock OWA and W12 in 60/40, 50/50, and 40/60 ratios. The results were very surprising. 4 of 5 people ranked the 60/40 blend 1st. 3 of 5 (including myself) had ORVW dead last. Only 1 of 5 ranked the ORVW in their top 3. whiskeyagonzo
Funny. Just sat down with a bottle and a cigar. Put me in the "like" category!Yeah I really liked the 2012. And the nose on the 2013 is just fantastic but it falls apart for me after that. Maybe I need a good cigar to pair with it ;-)
