Finished a bottle of Crown Smooth Ambler Old Scout 8-year. I absolutely love this bottle. I have some in reserve. I am not sure if it is HH or BT. Some days it reminds me of amped up EWSB and other days it reminds me of CEHT. Doesn't matter since the name on the bottle is Smooth Ambler and I know where to get more.

I didn't think they did anything other than MGPI. Am I wrong about that?

Just got back from Lover's Key,FL. a few days back, and polished me off Basil Hayden's,EC12,and last but not least some JBB, hadn't had that stuff in a long time, so why not...A lot of drinking, but that's what you're supposed to do on vacation, so I had to comply.

That was my impression too but I don't know if that level of detail has been shared in the past by SA.

Same here, typically their OS selection bottles have the IN DSP on them.

Just killed a bottle of ETL to make room for the store select bottle of ETL I recently picked up.

How do you rate the hazmat vs. the previous batches?

I haven't done a SBS, but I think at least as good as the rest. :)

Seems you can't go wrong no matter which batch. That's been my experience with batches 3 and 5.

Just killed a bottle of Willett 4yo Rye. To add insult to injury, the next morning my girlfriend dropped the beautiful bottle while taking out the trash, shattering it everywhere throughout the room.

McKenna BIB to the recycler. I don't have any in the bunker, but this one will definitely be replaced in the near future.

Better dropped empty, I managed to knock a unopened one one over on a tile floor where it self destructed.

Just finished a bottle of EC12. Market square store select. I made it last close to a year. Sad to see it go.

An OFBB 2011 last night. Not a standout year in my opinion. Also got the last pour out of a JJB SB tonight. The Bowman will be missed more.

I made short work of this 15 year OESK. To be fair a lot of samples were shared as well. It was a dandy.

As a beneficiary of that particular bottle, I join in your salute!
