Nice haul Joe, Is that JB Bonded only at the gift shop, never seen one before, still finding the paper labels 107? Do they have a spring release of PVW down there?

The Dant and EW BIB were purchased in Bardstown. The other three were "gifts" so to speak. :skep: The Beam Bonded made it to me all the way from Australia somehow.

Picked up the first bottle of Saz 6 yr that I've ever seen on a shelf, it was $50. Imagine my surprise when I googled it when I got home and found out that the typical MSRP is around $30.

Wow, EC12 for $18 and Sazerac 6 for $50. I guess it pays to be familiar with what these should sell for. Then you know whether to load up or pass.

I was relatively late to the game in getting a smartphone but it comes in handy in times like that. Info at your fingertips at all times.

While in KY for the Sampler - picked up a VSOF 12, a Weller Antique private selection, a non-age stated VOB BIB, an ETL 90 and a couple 375s of age stated VOB BIB. Not a bad trip but was also looking for Bowman Double Barrel.

Just noticed that my local Sam's Club has started stocking FR1B, for $32 no less! As a conscientious person, I felt it was my obligation to buy two which are now readying themselves to be consumed while watching hockey this week. Score!

Picked up my 2 Bookers 25th from PA today. I had every intention of passing on this release until I tasted it at a bar and really liked it. Still priced too high, but good enough for me to suck it up and open my wallet.

Nice price Hank but for only $100-$120 in gas money you could drive down and back from the Bardstown Kroger and even do better at $29 ;) .

Same thing here Hank. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't buy any because it was last weekend, just before I headed down to the Sampler. Might have to grab one when we go there this Saturday though.

Now you got me thinking I have to check out my local Sam's Club. And I'm also wondering if they would provide a case discount.

doubt it. my wife and I get at least a case and a half of wine there every other month or so, and have yet to get a discount on it. But, with it being $5+ cheaper PER bottle there versus anywhere else, we cant complain.

Have to agree with Doug here. It's already quite a bit cheaper than pretty much all other places. I would have to think that a case discount would be pretty much out of the question. That being said, it doesn't hurt to ask. Let us know how it goes. Preferably by Saturday.
