393foureyedfox
Bookers earlier, now a small revisit sip of KyTBIB. Fair, but drinks more like a 90 proofer.

berto
Oh man, a job that has a Bourbon club.We didn't ask permission, we just went for it and figured we'd get told to stop if it was an issue.the OESQ carried the night. It's like nothing I've ever had before. The first sniff and taste were a blast of flavor. Banana and caramel and other stuff too. I thought it was just me but the other seasoned bourbon folks and the scotch guy were blown away too. People wanted to drink it for the rest of the night and ignore everything else. K&L picked a winner.
Paddy
A small pour of W12 to kick the weekend off. I'd been a while and I think that this bottle was feeling a little neglected.
brettckeen
Having a small glass of 2013 WLW. Now open for 8 month and nearly half finished, the air time has move most of the ethel notes to pallet burn (a textural phenominon not flavor) Great fruity spice, mint, dates and slight caramel sweetness. Not as sweet as any other year I can remember and I think that is why the 13' seems to have been not looked as highly on. It's still better than most of the barrel strength things I have open at the momment. If it was better though, I doubt I'd have any left at this point. Kyjd75
Air time always seems to enhance the WFEs, and a dash of water often will really open them up to a new level of enjoyment.Willett Family Estate 11yr from Eric's P&M in Elizabethtown.I have to thank a very generous SB member who took the time to pack this up and ship it to me. That's one of many reasons why this place is great.Though you can never fully judge a bourbon from the first pour, I'm really digging this one so far. If this one gets better with "air time", well heck, it's going to REALLY be good.
DPPSmoker
I tried to share a bottle of Four Roses GS OBSF with some buddies last night at our fantasy football draft but they're too set in their ways. They love their craft beer too much. One in the group has developed an appreciation for bourbon so we both enjoyed the FR. I really love the honey that I get in this bottle. Air time always adds to WFEs as does water. You are lucky to enjoy this selection. I know you shop with Eric but I am not sure whether you got to participate in the selection. Was this originally a 10-year selection but ended up 11-year selection due to bottling delays?
Mardbrown
Im very new to the bourbon game. I lurked on here for about three months and figured I should start contributing. Just kind of felt at home around so many people that have a passion for the spirit I fell in love with. Anyway, it amazes me how good Weller Special Reserve is for the price. Im working working on a healthy pour in my Glencairn.
Ravensfire
Had a glass of 4R 2014LE with my father-in-law after we celebrated his dad's 102nd birthday. Great guy (both!) and pretty cool birthday to celebrate.
Jorgemu1
A little bit of everything tonight. Tried SAOS 10 for the first time. Followed by a store blend of AE and finished off with WT Diamond.
Paddy
Polished off a bottle of Rare Breed and then continued onward with an already tapped EWSB. Both are very familiar and very good. I've turned a lot of folks onto RB over the years, and this bottle won a couple of new converts as over as well. I'm looking forward to moving on to the latest version, at just over 112p, in the very near future.

jonhalter
Opened WTRB at my fantasy draft. I think 4 of us were drinking it. Tasty stuff. Surprisingly drinkable. Others were not put off by its higher proof, as they usually stay in the 90 range
