Finally, my first sip (BIL has already polished off the 'leaky' bottle):

Did a nice 86 proof flight tonight...Angel's Envy, EWSB, and Old Forester 86. The AE and EWSB were closer than I would have thought!

EC12. Definitely a staple, standard pour on my bar.

After a week and a half solid of mostly ECBP, WTRB, and KCSB, I decided it was time to mix it up and go with a completely different mashbill and profile. Stagg Jr. batch 1 with a little BT mixed in to smooth out the rough edges. An eminently easy drinker.

Long day at work then several hours fixing up the basement. A couple of pours of a store picked WFE 11 year was a nice reward.

Started with another large pour of 4R 2013 LE SmB and then tried a SOAS Barrel Proof 8 year bourbon that I received in a sample swap.

Having a healthy pour of ECBP after a pretty frustrating day at work.

We'll, you picked a really good one to erase that away. And, no need to wonder if you have a mit Farbstoff issue. :D

Being serious, I continue to be amazed at the darkness in color of the ECBP's.

Hah! I needed a big ol facepunch of bourbon. ECBP has a very interesting "vanilla cake frosting" thing going on, and I feel that I need to conduct further research on the subject.

Of course!

Since I just finished my after dinner old fashioned, I'll assist your research with a pour of an ECBP, too. :toast:

Just finished a pour of a FRSB OBSK that I picked up at Binny's while in Chicago last week, and now I'm onto a pour of ETL. Today was my first day back to work after being off for a week and a half, and it was a monster, so there may be a third glass in the works tonight as well.

This bottle is my first FRSB, and I'm blown away by how fantastic it is. I tried FRYL back when I first started really getting into bourbon, and didn't care for it much at all, so my expectations were somewhat tempered despite all of the great things I've heard. Now I'm super stoked to try the OBSO I picked up as well.

^^^^^^Welcome to the cult!^^^^^^ :70358-devil:

I'm enjoying a nice three fat finger pour of EWSB.

Didn't want to have to get back up too quickly! :D
