TunnelTiger
None. I've decided to make a realistic attempt at raiding my bunker. Not the basement stash just the garage storage

Tony Santana
Not to change this into a storage thread, but I'm starting to run into space issues. The cabinet in the dining room where I keep all the open bottles and the "show" bottles that are yet to be opened but will be some day, the cabinet in the basement I bought to store the overflow, the box in the front hall closet where I keep all the 1.75's, and the cabinet above the fridge with vatting experiments - all full. Whether one views that as fortunate or unfortunate depends on your mindset. Meanwhile, I'm wondering where I can shoehorn the latest KC SB I bought yesterday. It's just sitting on the dining room table right now, and that ain't gonna fly for long.

adub23
Bought a 1.75l of a store pick eagle rare as well as a store pick etl. Similar situation as foureyedfox in that I'm headed north in Michigan for the week. I have to bring my own stuff with me to enjoy on vacation rather than count on the local mom and pop shop to have much more than Beam and Jack behind the counter.... HD 335
I wasn't sure if K&L had their own Four Roses PS barrels since many of the local retailers got theirs in already. Just picked these up yesterday. They have 4 recipes but I only was interested in two of them.
tanstaafl2
Store pick of Russell's reserve SmBSB that I had a small hand in helping to select has arrived. Eddie Russell was in town with the samples when we selected it a couple of months ago. Really liked the sample so looking forward to seeing if it is the same in the bottle. Original proof as I recall was a round 112 so they cut it down to 110 (which seems kind of stupid to me but I didn't get a say. That is the WT way apparently) and it was around 8 1/2 years old. Still trying to get the exact age. Sample was a nice balance of woody/vanilla and caramel with perhaps a touch of fruit on the back of the palate as I recall with a nice fairly long slightly dryer finish. Look forward to trying it soon and expect it might stop by at a Wednesday tasting soon!
petrel800
GBS Barrels have arrived, woo hoo! When you're dropping for 2 cases, why not grab the 14 LE as well. Wife only sees the figure on the AmEx Bill. Sorry honey, they didn't give me an itemized. Hahahahaha.
