KyleCBreese
I purchased a Handy today, but when I got it home, I realized that it is 128.4 proof. Looks like I got a 2013 bottling.

ThirstyinOhio
I got to try all 5 BTAC at a local bar that was offering them in flights for a great price. They offered two flights with the first having GTS, ER17, and WLW for $18 and then a rye flight with Handy and Sazerac for $12 (3/4oz pours I think). In my personal ranking, I'd place WLW as the clear best of the bunch for this year followed by Sazerac, GTS, ER17, and then Handy, but to be honest, they were all very good. bicktrav
Wow, that is an unbelievable deal! Were the pours ample?

The other day I was poaching the last of some Stagg and thought it was pure delight. It was a GTS from several years ago..

bigmzungu
Saw my first BTAC of the year in OH today. I got a bottle of GTS as that was the only one my main store received. Made my day since I had given up on them for the year!

bicktrav
My haul this year ended up being a bottle each of Saz and Stagg. Thoroughly pleased considering they were the two BTAC bottles I was missing. Edited December 16, 2014 by bicktrav
tanstaafl2
standing proudNice find. Not only did you get a good number of bottles but it looks like you got lucky and got a few older bottles as well. Those ER17's say Spring on the label and there hasn't been a spring release for several years has there? Can't really read the year but it looks like it is either 2014 or 2004! Did ER go back that far?The picture looks a bit antique-y as well but I suppose that could just be an effect of the flash.
bin31z
They say spring 2014. That's their bottling date. I don't know if they bottle in spring for the fall release?
bin31z
I used a filter on the camera to make it seems fancy and old timey. Haha

Josh_NC
I walked into a random liquor store near my family's place over the holiday weekend, and was pleasantly surprised to see a GTS and Saz from this year's collection, sitting behind the counter. I asked if I could buy them both, assuming they were being held for someone, and the clerk said I could. Really excited for that unexpected Christmas present! The Saz I got said bottled Spring 2014 as well.

jvd99
Master of Malt put up GTS on their website yesterday and it was sold out in a flash, even with 1 per customer. They are offering it in their Drinks by the Dram though. The bourbon craze has clearly broadened its scope internationally because you can't even get in on another country's allocation.
