Received my BTAC. I put in a double order just in case the first one didn't get filled and instead the two were both fulfilled. The thought of returning it didn't even cross my mind, especially since I secured 2xWLW, 2xS18 and 2xER17. At $60 each no less.

Went down to KY for a few days and came back with 2x HH bib 6 year, OWA, Larceny, 2x 21year willetts, and a 25year rye from willett. I was hoping to pick up 2 more bottles of MM cask strength, but they sold out at the gift shop the day before I arrived. I also had no luck tracking down any wlw12 and phc8 that were on my list of hope to finds as well.

Oh my. Stark inequality of opportunity in our time. Congratulations.

Found a couple bottles of MM Cask Strength today.

Funny thing was, while I was driving out to pick them up, Specs called to confirm my online order of two bottles. (Of course, I saved the shipping costs by finding some local).

Found that our local grocery store has added another item, this time Elmer T. Lee. Cracked it open and enjoying some now. $29.99

EW 1783 Small Batch

Love It! One of my locals has 1.75's for $22. One jumps in my cart every time I go there for some reason.

I was in Florida this weekend (just posted in the "Passed" thread) so I did some hunting. I found some good stuff but really could only fit 2 bottles in a checked bag shared with my fiance. I was looking at a store that had pretty densely packed shelves and I saw something hiding behind some of the usual suspects, BMH Kentucky NAS. The store worker was like "Oh, I didn't know we had any of that left."

Now I know Black Maple Hill has a tarnished reputation as of late but I was holding out that the orange labeled Kentucky NAS bottling would be interesting enough to justify the $36. I've had two small tastes and I'm happy with my purchase (considering I didn't pay crazy secondary market prices). It also tastes like it will open up nicely with more air.

PHC Wheat at $99. I had been passing it up at this price, hoping to find it cheaper. But when available, this seemed to be the going rate by me, so I bit.

Still haven't seen any in NJ.

That is what Va ABC charged.

If you haven't seen it yet in your area of NJ, I'd think it would be showing up soon. It does not seem to be super-abundant, but I've seen enough of it to think it will not be terribly hard to find some bottles if interested.

Gotcha. I suspect $99 will be a pretty common price for this, with an occasional $90 or thereabouts. And bottom line for me, with the very positive reviews the PHC Wheat seems to be getting, the extra $10 is not enough to keep me on the sidelines. This is unique and apparently good enough to splurge, as $100 is about as much as I'd personally spend on a bottle of whiskey.

Today was a good day. ORVW 10 and Pap 20. Hoping to crack the latter tonight to celebrate a World Series Game 7.

Feeling spendy today, so I picked up a PHC8 from BevMo for $120 and that bottle WTAS at a local store I passed on a month ago for $120 as well.

Most I have ever spent on bottles of spirits, so this better be good.

After reading these comments, I went back to the store where I bought the first and got the last one on the shelf. Same $99 price. I expect I will see more, but I doubt at a lower price. Cool weather for the weekend should be just right to crack this one open.
