NickSmithIsDead
Was planning on making a drive down to KY this weekend, but just found out that we don't need a new furnace motor, we actually need a whole new furnace. So that kind of killed my bourbon-run plan. Fortunately the weekend wasn't a total waste. (Not pictured: a store select OWA from Tippin's in Ann Arbor.) kjbeggs
On my way out the door to pick up a bottle of ETL, and got a phone call offering me a choice of THH Rye or ER17. I took the Rye.

393foureyedfox
I havent walked into a liquor store in almost two months now. It may be a whole new game when I make it back in. Of course, the last time I went 'shopping', I came home with like 30 bottles of HH, so its not like I really need to go shopping...:drink:If Santa tucks a Booker's into my stocking again, it may be quite a while before I feel the need to get to a store again anyway. A bottle of that lasts me about 6 months

zillah
2x ETL 9yr barrel picks from Schneider's Liquors in Capitol Hill DC. I am excited to finally have some bottles of Elmer where I know the age and barrel location. It was pricey though: $47 each. Heres hoping they are better than the standard ETL in my bunker. Then again, any ETL is never a bad deal.
Hop
Made it to the "homeland" this weekend and on Friday I hit JB, HH, 4R, and MM as well as a few stores then visited with family over the weekend. Just got home and unpacked. I got the 4R LE in a store at Bardstown for MSRP, found another couple that I passed on at $149 each just outside of town at another store. MMCS x4 three I picked up at the distillery and dipped myself the other in a store. Last of two cases they'd gotten in this week. Old Tub is a throwback brand only available at JB so I picked up one just to tryKCSB I got to bottle myself while I was there. ECSB sourced through another member here I picked up on the road and was able to help him out with a Bookers 25th. OHHBIB picked up in Bardstown as well at a retail store. JB American Stillhouse available at the distillery only At 4R Coxs Creek I picked one each of OESF, OESO, OBSF, OESK which were the only recipes they had. Then at Liquor Barn in BG I got another OESK Barrel Select of 4R Edited November 9, 2014 by Hop
Vosgar
Still find it hard to believe, but picked up a Blanton's for $33.99 today. Figured it was just a pricing error, but apparently it's a new item for the store and they want to make sure it moves. I think that price will do the trick

I won't make you angry by sharing it with you. I find them to be a bit better than the standard ETL bottling, so it's still worth it. In other news, another local of mine actually wants $80 (!!!!) for Rock Hill Farms.

bin31z
That's all they had! Last year, I was able to pick up as many 2013 LESib as I could want. This year, he had to buy a whole barrel of four roses single barrel to even get a couple of the 2014 small batch. He's still not sure he's going to get btac and pappy this year. I was able to pick up pappy and as many lot b's as I wanted last year. Guess everyone and their mom's are out looking for limited edition bourbons. Sigh
Mark_M
I snagged a bottle of McKenna BIB 10yr on Saturday and cracked it with some friends. I've been eyeballing it all summer, never tried it before. Very good @ $27. Highly recommend it. It's half gone!
