DBM
Pretty decent haul from Binny's while visiting the Mother-in-Law in Illinois. Most of it was stuff picked up for a buddy, but the Stagg, PCH, SAOS, and MMCS are mine. Admit it, the Cleveland Christmas is yours too. garbanzobean
I'm a big fan of OESK. Good choice.I picked up two of the new CEHTBP 129 proof. Those were the two at the Gift Shop that interested me. The OESK was significantly better than the OBSO, so that's what I went with. To be fair, I've noticed that the O recipes need plenty of air for me to really start enjoying them.

Thig
Old Van Winkle Special Reserve 12 Year "Lot B." Not sure if I paid too much or not, been asking this store to get me some of the fall releases and I got this for $149.99.

My bottles of OESK and OESQ both need some time before they really started to sing. I'd say that probably by the second week after being first opened is when the light switch really turned on brightly.

If you really want it and you are comfortable with the price then it is not too much. It is a wee bit more than MSRP but finding any of them for anything close to MSRP is getting increasingly difficult.
tanstaafl2
Got some bottles in from K&L today thanks to the very kind assistance of a fellow SBer. Kind of a mixed bag of malt and rum but the Corti Bros "Exquisite Whiskey" reviewed here by SKU was the main reason for my order. Another one to add to my growing list of whiskey waiting to get tried. This may move to the top though. Figured I generally like finished bourbon, SKU seemed to like it and this one seemed to be limited so I might as well get two and take a chance! El Vino
Thanks to a friend I was able to secure a 2014 George T. Stagg. I also picked up a HW MWND act 2.7. No Pappy for me again this year. Not really expecting anything, but always hoping for something. Really happy with the Stagg.

grantsi
Needed to run to Walgreens, but Binnys got in the way: MMCS ($34.99), HW MWND and Rhetoric. I'm excited by the midwinters night dram and interested in the makers, the rhetoric, well, we'll see
miller542
Just picked up my special order case of standard label Four Roses Single Barrel, 6x750ml.The only way to get Four Roses in Utah is to special order, minimum 1 case, and only the standard Small Batch and Single Barrel are avaliable. Cost of entry is higher than a single bottle, but it beats paying to have it shipped from another state and is more on the legal side. Control state woes aside, I'll take my Four Roses however I can get it.

Paddy
Beautiful sight! That's a pretty sight! Stores here consider it a good day when they get a case. Speaking of a case, maybe you should...I picked up another of the secret honey hole stash of the on closeout/marked down '12 Lot 40, a HM BIB, 4R1B Christmas gift box (two glasses this year thank you JR) and a Ritt Rye today. Not a bad day at all...

dSculptor
Went out grocery shopping for the wife, made a few detours and came home with these I don't think she's going to want me to go shopping for her anymore! That's alright, I'm out of money now anyway! I think the first one that gets cracked is the OF BIB vin.'94,then followed by the PHC8,or maybe the other way around.
