There are MANY bottles of batch #4 in the Minneapolis area, if anyone is in the area and interested. I picked up a bottle last week, but am still working through a bottle of batch #3. It will be interesting to do a SBS.

I'd be interested to see a sbs of #3 vs #4. I think I have batch #4, and I'm finding it to be quite thin in flavor and nose, not like the SmB or even SB versions. so it's definitely not been a favorite of mine.

Yup, it's around in MN.  It's good.  Personally though, I like Stagg Jr. a little better.

Had other priorities today.    Maybe in a few days.    We'll see.

Today I wanted to test-taste the new 1792 Full Proof that I also grabbed at the same time.     That one really intrigued me, and I really enjoyed it's straightforward simplicity, and no nonsense profile.    It was exactly as I expected, and hoped for.   If you're a fan 1792, you'll really like the 'Full Proof'.    ....Or, if you've ever sat in the back yard at the General Nelson while Barton is drying the spent mash.   Wonderful sensory experience, and the Full Proof puts me right there.

FWIW, did a 4 person blind tonight of releases 3, 4, and 5. The 129, 127.2, and new 127.5. 3 of the 4 of us preferred the 127.2 (release 4) over the others. The new 127.5  was generally preferred I ever the 129.

The 127.5 batch is still out there. I found a bottle today.  Hope to try it soon.

I'd like to try this again, but batch 1 was so not to my tastes.
