I agree, I just opened another bottle a couple days ago. I'm down to two liters and a 1.75. I'll be sad when it's gone.

This, but sadly a distant memory now

I suppose I have to break this into two categories, Premium and Everyday.

In the Premium category, I need to have George T Stagg around at all times. It's the one that got me started down the enthusiast path and it remains my favorite of the premium and/or limited edition expressions. I always have one open, but don't go to it often for obvious reasons, which leads to the need for the everyday "must haves".

I'd have a hard time pinning it down to one but have a small group. Standard BT (I'd like to go with Elmer T Lee here, but it's limited now too.) Weller 12 for the wheater category (it's limited now too but I don't have a substitute) and Four Roses Small Batch. Honorable mention to WT101. Just realized I'm without a Beam product here so I'll add KCSB to the rotation. (Baker's could end up trumping this some day soon but more research is required.)

I'd have to say Old Forester Signature. A close second would likely Old Weller Antique 107. I suppose there would be a multi-way tie for third....................

EC12 or ETL for me.

Next bottle up on my bar may be HH8. This thread reminded me I still have a bottle tucked away (thanks to Pudsky) that I haven't tried yet.

I have more than 50 open bottles right now, so I bounce around a lot, but probably return to ER10, EC12 and EWSB more than any others.

Still have two bottles of that. Good stuff, even at the $13 per bottle I paid.

As for the "must have" that would be ETL. I love it. My wife loves it. Need I say more?

My one must have is somewhat similar to Tony. Variety, and lots of it! But I don't think I could give you just one. Or even half a dozen.

Fortunately I have that covered for the foreseeable future!

Used to be ETL.

Now there's always Larceny, EC12, 4R SmB, OGD114, and usually Weller 12 and OWA.

If I had to pick one that's always available, affordable, and consistent, it'd be Larceny at this point.

Gotta' have some Ritt100 rye on hand too.

Nothing that hasn't been said already, but EC12, FR YL, and at least one FR PS (a store or the gift shop, it matters not).

I always try to keep a rotation of at least 6-8 bottles open at any time. But, my three "essentials" would have to be RHF, KC and Baker's.

If my bunker were stolen and I had to restock with something available on the shelf....I would grab two things- whatever BT wheater was available W12/OWA/WSR (in that order) and a FR PS cask strength. I would regret what was lost but only until I opened what I had purchased.

This seems to be the stuff to have. When was it last produced ?

Early last year or late 2013 it was d/c'd. Tough to find generally as it was only available in 2-3 states, MN being on of them.

Last two I picked up were dusty's, literally, and paid the fine price of $9.99 that you see on it.

Wasn't particularly special, but a solid value for a 8yr pour available at most every liquor store in the state.

There is an old hair metal ballad that has the line "Don't know what you've got, 'til it's gone." I have a handle left and used to buy it like water.

A staple for me is Old Forrester, 100 proof. I still have a couple dimpled bottles left in the bunker; that's still the classiest looker on the bar.

I'm down to my last bottle of Wild Turkey Russells Reserve 10 yr 101. I'm sure glad I discovered the RR single barrel - now THAT's good bourbon!

I like a lot of variety, however must haves are EC12,GTS, KC, and Bookers,...it's been quite a while since I have had the regular EC12 since I bought a case of a store select SB a while back, but that stuff was my staple for sure. Oh, and while I'm at it RHF has to be in there also, even though the stuff is getting harder and harder to find.

I would have to say Four Roses Single Barrel, although I have one store select barrel proof I haven't opened yet. I think I'm the only person on here that doesn't care as much for the OWA (still like it) as the special reserve. I wish I could have a bottle of the Weller 12, I've tried it once and loved it.

My staples are BT, ER10, W12 (when available) and 4RSB (barrel proof or 100 proof). If I had to limit it to just one - it would probably be ER10.
