clingman71
If consistently available, I would say 2014 Old Rip, I love that range of age and proof. SB Blend is a close second to that. RRSB is a current must have for me as well.
Tucker
My staples are BT, ER10, W12 (when available) and 4RSB (barrel proof or 100 proof). If I had to limit it to just one - it would probably be ER10.
Merrymash Monk
It seems like many of us have a hard time naming just one. And no wonder. Variety is after all the spice, and all that. But if I have to name just one, it's got to be "1792". I haven't seen it mentioned yet. But to me this bourbon has so much going on that its as though I taste a little bit from all the great distilleries balanced in one pour.

Won't break the bank, but classy at the same time. I would put Buffalo Trace as its counterpart in the mid-shelf world.
mosugoji64
I like the idea of approaching this as what would I get first if my bottles disappeared. Makes the choice easier. The first thing I would grab would likely be a HH bond, probably McKenna. After that, a Weller if one's available or something from FR.

BigBoldBully
This is not an easy question (for me) to answer. Yet sometimes I wish we had to pick just one and then stick with it (though I guess that is not exactly the question raised). No more indecision in the whiskey aisle making us late for a wedding. No more reflecting in the bunker making us miss the funniest anecdote of the evening. Just pick one spirit and consider it yours until the bitter end. If only this merciful obligation were mine, I think, as of this moment, I would ... I think I would write the names of 20-30 nominees on scraps of paper and draw one at random. BigBoldBully
One of the nominees would definitely be 1792, and I am glad to see it getting a little love of late. After gaining some appreciation for it and buying several 750s at around $20, I had the good fortune to stumble upon a couple of family size bottles at $24.49. This is when the 8 year age statement was about to be dropped, and they were (oddly, it seems to me) trying to clear out the stated stuff in preparation for the NAS. garbanzobean
If I had to start my bourbon/rye collection over again, I would look for the following first: FRYL or FRSB if it was on sale, Larceny, Henry McKenna 10 SB BIB, SAOS 7 (or an 8 barrel proof if one was around), Bernheim, and Rittenhouse Rye BIB. If I could only pick one, I reckon I'd go with FRYL or Henry McKenna, whichever I saw first.
Phil T
Very, very, very rarely do I not have a FRSB or HH BIB 6 open.

GAbiker
Weller 12, ER10, EWBIB, FRSB (every locale store seems to have the OBSV...I'd sure like something different).

tylermke
It's kinda like picking a favorite kid, but FR PS or GTS. Dealer's choice perhaps!

Kalessin
Old Grand Dad 114.I make sure I always have plenty of it in stock. It a year-round favorite, I love how the flavor stands up to ice, and I'll also drink it neat in the fall, winter and spring.
Xevious
EW BIB and OGD114 are the only two bottles I consistently replace when empty. It used to be Weller 12 when it was stocked on every shelf. Now I find that I don't miss it very much. I've moved away from wheaters altogether.
Ravensfire
My one must have is Buffalo Trace. Both my wife and I absolutely love that stuff and it will always be in my house.
Renegator
I noticed today that Beverage Superstore has a store-selection ER10 in stock. Have you tried it?I have not. I'll have to check it out. Thanks for the heads-up!
