TunnelTiger
It was a SAOS night, first the 7yr and then the rye. Back to back I really enjoy the difference.
Swoboda
Finished off a Bulleit 90 last night . . . I like this, but will probably replace with a 4RSmB to try something different . . . cheaper around here too.

KyleCBreese
Back to the Larceny tonight. Only a few pours left from this bottle and won't be able to replace it until I head south in August. Can't get it in NJ.

fozzy71
SBS of a freshly opened EWBIB (first time having it) vs the 04 EWSB that is nearing the bottom. That EWBIB first sip was nice, reminded me of OGDBIB a bit I think. Might have to crack open the OGDBIB from the bunker next time (or maybe later tonight of I kill the EWSB).Another sip or two: the lower proof EWSB is obviously/noticeably smoother but I really think I prefer the extra heat and smoke/wood flavors of the BIB. Good stuff. Definitely need to grab another of these next time I see it and want to do a SBS now with OGDBIB for sure since the EWBIB is $5/bottle cheaper here. fishnbowljoe
Busy day at work yet again today. To top it off, I also had a safety committee meeting the last hour. We had a lot to cover, so I got out of work a little late. Got home, took the garbage out, got my haircut and did a couple of other chores. Kicking back with my own impromptu Weller Blend. :yum: Good way to end the day. Cheers! Joe
flahute
You, are by my accounts, a man of excellent taste. Who also has a very nice bunker!Well thank you TT. I learn from guys like you.Though I was quite tempted to stay on my 4R roll, I decided to mix it up for no good reason. Starting with Bowman Brothers SmB which is a nice whiskey but is not one that makes me do handstands so I'll probably follow up with some ECBP hazmat. Or maybe SAOS 10yr. It's good to have options. jwes1776
Sippin' on an OFSig tonight. What a tasty surprise! I had read a lot of conflicting reviews of this, but at the end of the day glad I pulled the trigger:-)
mbroo5880i
Since it's my birthday today, it only seemed fitting to have a pour of OFBB 14. Surprisingly "smokey" for a bourbon, with plenty of oak and a very long finish. Cheers!Happy belated birthday Andrew! I hope you had a great one! flahute
Sippin' on an OFSig tonight. What a tasty surprise! I had read a lot of conflicting reviews of this, but at the end of the day glad I pulled the trigger:-)It's not for everyone but it's at a reasonable enough price that it doesn't hurt for anyone to try it. I've only ever had one bottle of it and sometimes I loved it, sometimes it underwhelmed significantly so I haven't gone back to it. Knowing me, it will find it's way into my shopping basket again. mbroo5880i
Last few weeks have been hectic. One son graduated HS, the other is getting married Saturday. Soccer has been crazy. Relaxing with a nice pour of a vatting of FRSmB and FR OESO while watching the final episode of Hot in Cleveland.

fozzy71
Chilled pour out of the fridge of BT. I grabbed this from the corner store to tide me over till I can grab a few 750's of the store pick across town and damn, it's so smooth out of the fridge it needs to go back up in the cabinet at room temp I think.* I think BT might be my fave..... squire
I have to vote for Old Forester as well. Woodford has always struck me as a Forester variation and the original score plays better.
