Four Roses Single Barrel PS, OESQ, aged 9 years, 3 months, 54.3% ABV, RN 85-!D

Four Roses Single Barrel, standard release OBSV

4R OESQ is my favorite recipe.  Well, I like five or seven others a lot and will drink any of them.

Today, my wife encouraged me (as I previously reported on SB someplace) to go purchase OGD 114s at $25 per.  So, I did.  Larceny was on sale down the shelf, so I bought one to fill out the set.

The case is still in my trunk right where my wife told me to put it until we get some room inside the house.  I sure hope she doesn't look in the wheel well.

Don't feel alone. I will have no chance as well.

Bought a SAOS SB CS 10 year old (118.6) today.  Exact same barrel (#3309) as the last one,  bottled a few days earlier then the last one.  First one found in DE, 2 months later the 2nd one found in MD.

Only difference is the first one was bottled by Saralen (sp?) and the 2nd one bottled by Tori.  Going to open one this coming weekend.

I think it's just Sarah.  She has bottled the majority of what I have and it just seems her "H" is very cursive, possibly leading to your confusion.  Also she seems to be doing a great job. :P

My bottle of SAOS Ten has the word "one" written for batch number, which I think is cool (instead of the number 1).  I think having a bottle from the first batch makes me a pretty big deal in the SA circles, ha.

If I ever visit Smooth Ambler I will thank Sarah. She has bottled some of the Best Bourbon available right now.

I really do hope SA can continue buying MGP in Indiana. They know how to pick em!

Passed on EHTBP while in Atlanta on Wednesday for $200. Bought a bottle today near home for $80. It's headed for the bunker.

Congratulations Wow!  I was fortunate enough to be given a PVW23 a few years ago.   Nursed it for over a year but sadly it's no more and I have been trying to obtain another at or near MSRP for the last few years to no avail.    Your score today was quite exceptional, enjoy! Dan
