They had about 6 or 7 750 ml bottles of this and the same amount of VOB BIB 6.  The store is located in a shopping center called Central Station, right across the street from Papa John's Cardinal Stadium and Jim Patterson Stadium, for those of you close to Louisville who might be interested in picking up either of these.

 

Houston, I am so jealous.  I live about an hour from BT and I can't find a bottle of W12 at all.  Let's play bourbon poker.  I'll see your W12 and raise you to Old Fitzgeralds. LOL

This was a post-New Year splurge bottle that's only just turned up (after 2 months). 

 

Evan Williams Single Barrel 2007, 120 proof, bottled for LMDW 60th. Was a bit expensive, though in my defence it was 'on sale' at the time.. Cheers!

Nice find. Have not seen any WLW 12 in a long long time here in GJ.

I got lucky I had to go to close to 20 stores before I found it and that's living in Texas where WSR seems more common than JB white label, can't imagine how hard it would be to find in other states.

I've got a coworker who's a real hustler and transports livestock all over the place. I'm going to see if he'd be interested in hunting for more WL12 for me in his travels for a small finders fee.

There's some WLW Special Reserve around and even in the new bottle/label, but no more WLW 12 or WLW OWA.

I have not seen any Weller in the new bottles/labels yet except on the pages of SB.  I have seen pics of WSR and OWA/WA107 but have yet to see a pic of a new bottle/label yet of W12.

Not sure if there is any Weller 12 with the new bottle and label? My guess is this W12 is from a shipment at the end of last year and it sounds like they won't be anymore sent out to later this year, if ever. Hope someone that knows more about this can correct me.

I have been able to find the WSR (750ml & handle) and the OWA (750ml) all in the new bottle here.  Seen about 8 750's of WSR and 2 handles (I bought a handle & two 750's, one for me and one for a friend) and just 2 750's of OWA, both of which were behind the counter or in an office.  Since I've become a regular in these two stores they offered and I bought both bottles.  None of the stores around here get any W12, except maybe Packages & More and then they don't put them out, just keep them for their Black Friday sale.

Ever notice how much better Lot B is than W12. Even though it's basically the same juice @ about the same proof....

A few years back, BT announced that because of the shortage of available stocks, many of their bourbons were going to be put on allocation. W12 was one of these. They said W12 would be released once a year at about the same time as the BTAC. Some folks swear that for a while now, W12 has been released at least twice a year. That could now be true. There's also the possibility that distributor's know what they have, and what the demand for it is. They just might hold back some items in their warehouses to dole out from time to time as they see fit. I'm pretty sure this happens sometimes. I know of at least a couple of places that have received some interesting things out of the blue with no rhyme nor reason. I believe that most distributors give a discount for case quantity orders. If they split up a case into two or three bottles here and there, they don't have to give the discount. I'm almost willing to bet that many distributors have been making a  s**t load of money from the "boom".  Just my two cents FWIW.

^Nice WTMK saw a bottle of that in Houston but $150 is more than I want spend.

Did some hunting of my own today found 6 bottles of OWA in the old bottle, left three on the shelf.

Also found a place with EC with the 12 year age statement on the back. Picked up one of those over 5 left behind.

Plan on taking a pic of my score when the wife goes to sleep.

I too added a bottle of WTMK Decades to the collection today. Looking forward to trying it, but need to make room in the cabinet first. Good thing there are a few bottles nearing the end of the line to make this happen.
