Crap I left out a very important picture. Those are plastic Eagle Rare Handles and 1977-1979 Yellostones, also Evan Williams 7yr 90 proof.

As I was viewing your stash I was thinking "I know he has some Yellowstone, he's just hiding them...." but then you corrected your mistake. That last pic is my favorite....all really terrific bourbons.

Nothing meager about that Don! I'm envious of all those Weller 107s from Louisville. They were not nearly as easy to come by in California as they seem to have been in Texas.

Hey Greg, notice the one lone Old Fitz BIB in that picture. It is one of the two you sent me and is still the only Old Fitz I've got in my collection. I'm saving it for a super special occasion. Great stuff!

I also added 2 more vintage birds to the collection today. 2 - 99 batch Rare Breeds. Love it!

Yeah Don, I agree with Christian. Nothing meager about your collection at all. You have some really good stuff there. The things that I'm impressed with the most, are all the Wellers you have, and the old tax stamped bottles of Yellowstone. I was lucky enough to get a an old bottle of Yellowstone once. Man it was good. Brought back some fond memories too. :rolleyes: Great collection Don. You should be proud. Joe

My OCD is causing this organizing to take too long so I just said heck with it and put the Turkeys in a pile and snapped a picture. I am missing a few and am quite frankly tiring of chasing the birds. I think I overbought American Spirit, but it is such a damn good looking package I couldn't help myself when I saw them; and a pretty tasty bourbon too!

Well your bar/gameroom appears to be larger than my entire house, but our babies have the exact same bouncer that is to the right in your wide shot. I wish we had basements in Texas. Nice stash!

I'm good with the first two...the last one I'm not so sure about! :D I need to get some better glasses...rock glasses are all I have right now for bourbon drinking...looking at some Snifters as we speak!

You should also be able to find somewhere locally that sells Glencairn glasses -- ask your Chicago peeps to point you in the right direction. I would imagine Binny's would have 'em but I don't know -- I picked up 2 at Julio's last weekend for $5 apiece. I like the Glencairns for "tasting" -- especially in small amounts and snifters for big pours -- rocks glasses for big flavor profile or less expensive bourbons (OGD114, WT101, etc.).

I love the Glencairn's. $5 is a great price. I paid $10 ea for mine.

One of my goals while out Christmas shopping this year is to pick up some Glencairns for myself.

Well, I had some time over the long Thanksgiving weekend to take an inventory of my stash, and update my spread sheet. Since I had the time, I also decided to do some cleaning, rearranging, and take some new pics. Here's my stash for now.

This is my stash with the exception of about a half a dozen oddball bottles that I have tucked away in my basement. I dunno, I think I may have to make some room for some more Weller, and ERSB. :rolleyes: Joe
