Well, more accurate to say metal wire basket shelving (which is more than one word). May not be pretty but not much chance of any shelves collapsing! Although I confess I do have a few bottles on shelves on the bar upstairs that will need to be reevaluated! I love the variety of spirits I can pick out on those shelves, I try to stay diversified and would like to think I have a pretty decent sized stashed but some time with a stash like this would feel like Christmas morning as a kid all the time, what toy to play with first! Bruce, All I can say about that stash is Wow! I've seen many liquor stores with substantially less inventory than that. Thank you for posting this because once I showed this to my wife she decided to cut me some slack on my little 20 bottle stash. A stash she refers to as "unnecessary". This is the definition of bourbon porn. Well done my friend!

Looked online can't find much but the baskets.

Amazon Basic has some extremely high quality and heavy duty steel shelves like this for dirt cheap, they come in various sizes too.

fishnbowljoe
It's been a while since I've posted pics here. I've been kept pretty busy with a number of other things this spring and summer. As a result, I'd neglected my bourbon room and cabinet. Not that I'm normally a good housekeeper or anything, but I finally said enough is enough. I took some time to start getting my room and cabinet in a little more order. I cleaned, dusted, polished, rearranged and took an inventory of my stash. As far as my inventory goes, I was only a bottle off here and there surprisingly. Gone are a number of empty bottles. My cabinet is now cleaned and rearranged. A few knick knacks that were displayed on my cabinet that I received from my Special Olympics kids and/or their parents, and a couple of my family members, have been stored away. A few new or different ones have taken their place. It's nice to have a halfway clean room for a change. I still have a lot more work to do, but at least for the time being, it's a bit cleaner, and I have a little more room to work with. Cheers! Joe Pic #1. My cabinet. Pic #2. My open bottles. A while back, I had all BIB's open. Now I have all BT stuff open. ER, Stagg JR, BT, ETL, and new and old bottles of Weller 12/Weller SR/OWA. Pic #3. The top shelves. Pic #4. The bottle left and center. Pic #5. The bottom right and center.

I'm still looking for my first bottle of WLW...hopefully I'll get lucky this year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

As disorganized as I am with almost everything else, I do like to keep my bourbon in order. 7 hours ago, Phil T said: Pretty cool Joe! What is the Old Weller half barrel? That is kind of an odd piece Phil. The description when I bought it said "OWA ashtray". (FWIW, I didn't buy it to use as an ash tray.) The top rim does have three indentations for cigarettes or smaller cigars, but it's only a half an inch deep. I use it to put my Christmas Story old man/leg lamp bobble head on. My son gave me the bobble head for Xmas one year because Christmas Story was me and my father in laws favorite Xmas movie. Even though I won't use it as one, it seems better suited for use as a bottle holder/glorifier. The old bottle Weller 750's fit on it perfectly. 7 hours ago, lcpfratn said: Joe, I love that cabinet! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk You've got a good eye Jeff. They are WLW's, and I've had them quite a while. The last WLW I bought was back in 2012. Of those in my cabinet, one is a 2008, and the other three are 2007's. My favorite. About my cabinet....I reckon I'll have to tell that story (again) some other time. It's late, and I couldn't sleep. What can I say? Cheers! Joe
HoustonNit
This is my Houston Hurricane Harvey flood stash.I kept a box with the contents in the pic below on the ground in a closet on the ground floor. House was flooded with about 5 inches of water for close to a day.Looks like I kept most of my good stuff in cabinets that avoided the flood. Also this stuff looks good, even if if the box was soaking wet.I'm out of the bourbon game for a while until I get through this cleanup and rebuild done. When things are back to normal will need to open something special.
