Opened up the RV today on our seasonal site. Enjoying a Double Oak Woodford to ease my aching joints.

Found some fighting cock this week for $13 and some change. I've been wanting to try it forever and figured now is as good a time as any. The first pour I wasn't fond of, but the more I get into the bottle the more I like it.

Just back from vacation from the US, had a great time visiting family! I can't wait to see them again. In the meantime I'm enjoying some 4R ps obsq. ae3aedf37ace55180b2ee26de53cd64f.jpg

Just sitting around with the wife watching some movies so I started with some ECobo., followed that up with some 1792 FP PS and finished off the night with Booker's 2016 Batch 4.  Movies with my honey, and good bourbon. Won't hear me complain.

Been awhile since I've drank from this bottle, I've had it for a few years, very tasty pour.

Started the afternoon with some 2014 FRSmBLE.  Never met an SmBLE I didn't like :)

That is some great whiskey. Not as celebrated as other years but that's why I was able to find a lot more.

I swore off the JB Sigs a couple years ago as they started to run together in my memory.  It looks like it is time to pick up this one.  Six years and six grains, even at 88+ proof, may be complex enough to keep me interested.  THANKS.

The only problem Harry, is that from what I know this was a one-off, Duty Free, bottling from 8 years ago...  :(

Boo-Hoo, it’s a rainout in Who-ville today.  But, just totally digging on this Old Forester 100 out of the fridge to help me get through ESPN Sunday radio.   There’s a reason these people are on radio on Sunday afternoons...<_<

Yeah, we froze our butts off in the rain at the game. My daughter was part of the chorus sign the national anthem today. Old Forester to warm me up now sounds like a damn good plan.

Bummer.  I hope she’s not too disappointed.  That’s quite an honor to even be selected to sing the Anthem at a he game.

Bourbon out of the fridge season comes later out here in the PNW. Looking good for this week though! I have OGDBIB in there from last summer still.

Cracked my 12yo SAOS, heaven in a bottle, so chewy, very oaky in a good way, loving it. Moving on to the big boy, cheers!

Will.

If I had known how good this was, I would've bought a few more bottles. It's pricey, ($18.99 for a .375l), but it's crazy good.

Hmm. I’ve seen it many times but never grabbed one. I may need to fix that oversight.

I wonder if this is essentially what became JB BIB?

I heard this too. I was at beam a few weeks ago and was going to pick it up, but they had none at their regular distillery .

Hmm, I bought a bottle of this at the Distillery and I just assumed it was plain old JB. I wonder if mine was for I do not remember paying that much.
