Feeling cheap, and want a little spice.

I've been going back and forth with these tonight. Tried the OF, when we toured the distillery a couple of weeks ago. This is the first time that I've had the OGD BIB. It ain't bad.

I prefer the OF, but they're both decent, at the price points.

Having a solid pour of BT after a long, cold hike in the Catskills today. Hailed almost the whole time.

Moving on from the cheap stuff.

We visited Pepper a couple of weeks ago, and tasted this, and were very impressed.

It's sourced, but they don't pretend otherwise.

It’s a Turkey night.

The RR pick is super spicy, kind of reminds of of older Turkey which I’m not a huge fan of, I know blasphemy. Don’t get me wrong it’s solid bourbon and a great unique single barrel. The 2017 WT101 standard bottling is great a rich/sweet full mouthful, modern Turkey at its best. My go to no fuss everyday drinker at $20 a bottle and no hunting. God bless the Russell’s and what they are doing.

It's not blasphemy at all. I want to like RR, and , in addition to the stuff they have on the shelves, I've had several barrel picks. I just can't get on  board.  I'll take the WT101 over the RR. Every time.

Finished the night with Booker's.  Dot's Batch I think this one is called (has the dog photo on it).

Bad news.. Another day of never ending yard work! :( Good news.. Sunny and 86 degrees and now enjoying some VOB90 and it’s side kick G’ale. :)

I haven’t seen this ET100 BIB blue label here. It’s on my list of “to buys”.. Going on vacation the middle of next month.. Not sure if offered in FL, bur certainly will be on the look out..

Pretty sure it’s only found around KY & several other states for the time being.  I don’t believe I remember FL being on the list though.

One year ago I opened this bottle on our wedding day.  A week before the ceremony we buried the bottle at the wedding site. The Misses had read this would bring good weather on the wedding day (it was upper 60's, sunny, with no wind). I saved one pour for our 1st anniversary. Cheers to a great year with my bride!

We’re actually staying in Orange Beach, but we normally travel into FL to eat etc as it’s just a rock throw across the line..
