It's a little thin, but not a bad, local,(Baltimore), rye. They have a cask strength too, but I haven't tried it yet.

Opened and drinking a small pour. Initial reaction is very good, really digging the long finish. Will probably pick up a second bottle.

GTS + GOT

You made the best call on that choice.

I should have poured some stronger than the tequila in preparation for that episode.  Avengers and this all in one day. My head is spinning, and not from the drink!

Been eyeballing this one every time I go to Costco.  Finally pulled the trigger.  Pleasant surprise in that it tastes like WTKS with a little smoke on the finish.

As much as I enjoy most of the 4R PS, I'm unable to get on board with this OBSF.

On your bar, I think that's called "slumming" , LOL !

Nice julip cup, btw.

Figured mixing it might help get through the bottle.  I could always save it for guests too.

I never found Michters bad. I just found it “meh”.

I got a bottle of Michter’s several weeks back “on sale” but have been hesitant to break it open after some lopsided reviews the other way.. Oh well, that’s why you buy it! Thumbs on the CDGA though my friend!

Just the dregs of a WT101 pint.  Then looking for something low proof for a night cap (since it's a school night and all) so picked the OF 1910 from the liquor cabinet.  This stuff is not in my wheelhouse unless I'm just really in the mood for something totally different.  When I'm in the right mood, it's excellent.   Tonight I should have reached for that 06 EWSB that I passed over instead.  Oh well.

Fantastic photo.  Makes me want to visit the distillery again.  Makes me thirsty for some OBSV.

Going with 4R Small Batch Select.  Solid pour, just wish it wasn't $55.

I've had a few F yeast picks that I wasn't a big fan of either - but they worked damn good in a manhattan.  Just mixed up a batch and kept the bottle in the fridge and poured manhattans until the bottle was empty.  Very tasty.

There I was, enjoying an after dinner WT 8yr 101 when the lovely Mrs. Vosgar brought out some pictures from our son's wedding, 13yrs ago. Sonofabitch.....what the hell's happened to me? 13 years isn't that long, but somehow I've aged at least twice that much :o

Promptly went and poured myself some '17 GTS to help ease the pain of reality.
