So....trick-or-treaters get a shot and a stogie this year?   That's even better than the people giving out full size Snickers bars!

Ha, we’re aren’t even having tricker treaters in my county, MoCo.

You say that like you don't expect a line of SB forum members to show up, wanting their shot and/or cigar now... :)

I love baseball, which means I love watching MLB. Evan Williams is a big sponsor on the MLB Network. Im just doing my part to support baseball by supporting the sponsors. ?‍♂️

OFSB PS in the glass this evening. :)

Not sure why, but I’m not looking forward to work tomorrow. ?

Drinking this straight from the bottle seems wrong.  Unless you're  camping at 11,385ft. while  its 31 degrees and you're smoking a cigar.

because it's Monday...

I was off last week, and honestly could care less about ever going back again.

I'm going to excel at retirement someday.  Already looking at farms in KY.  My retirement job is to drive the tanker truck full of new make from the 4R distillery to cox creek and back.

If you hauled that bottle all the way up there with you then you deserve to drink it however you see fit.

That being said, I would have awarded you significant bonus points for bringing a glass along.

:)

You have the unequivocal support and admiration of the “Weller Whore”. Please feel free to carry on.  Oh, just in case, I’d consider it an honor if you’d have another snort or two for me. ;)

I did a SBS when we snagged a bottle in Canada. It's got a little more depth than regular Maker's. It's good but,  for the $$$, I prefer MMCS.

Interesting that the MMCS is the exact same price as well so I may be in line to snag that one next.  Course with the 101 being the only open bottle I have at the moment the time for a SBS will be gone!

And I think "good, but" pretty much sums it up for MM101.  Fine whiskey, but a lot of competition at the $40 price point.

And to think, I was thinking about driving a school bus when I retire because it provides health insurance and paid vacation.

Last night, I started out with a nice pour of FRSmB Select followed by a couple of pours of Pikesville Rye.  Tonight, I reversed the order, just because.

I am starting to warm up to FRSmB Select.  This is my third bottle.  Maybe I am liking this bottle better because it was a gift.

On a FR bent this evening. Started out with FRSmB LE 2012, and then in honor of LCWoody and Lake Charles, a nip of FRSB PS from Lake Street Liquor.

One down and fortunately, many to go.

Not sure if you’re nostalgic or not, but ya might want to save at least one of those old fantail bottles. They’re history now.  ?

Drinking... no. Eating... yes.

My wonderful wife organised a birthday cake of, well, spectacular proportions, much to my surprise. Along with a bottle of the stuff it was inspired by.

Only the topper is inedible, but I thought you guys would enjoy it. Cheers!

Thank you. I should clarify the cake was made by a local baker, but was of course the wife's idea :D

Had to make a liquor store run today to resupply my wife with coconut spice cream. Picked up a bottle of EcBP for $59.00. It was a B 520. Really delivered the flavor along with the alcohol heat.
