beasled
@MissMohawk good that you can see the funny side but a shame that happens!! I am seeing off a rather tasty oddity from Belgrove in New Zealand (actually a foreign whisky to me for once, Joe...). It's an oat whisky, and has a very sweet, welcoming nose not unlike some ryes I've had from them and from Millstone, the Dutch distiller. Wonderful stuff. I'm hoping one day to visit NZ and Belgrove in person. Edited April 22, 2022 by beasled

Kepler
A pour of Redbreast 12 yo Cask Strength from a sample shared by a generous fellow SBer. It has a very pleasing honey-like characteristic.

Give it a push across the top (sideways) with your thumb to crack the seal - then it just lifts right out. Me too. I don't mind them at all. Like chop sticks, once you get the hang of them they aren't that bad.

Bourserker
I've been on a massive scotch kick lately so had some very wee drams of the following this evening: Clynelish 14, Ardbeg 10, Port Charlotte 10 and Laphroaig QC. Then I finished with a little Bunnahabhain 10 with a tiny bit of Ardbeg 10 and Port Charlotte 10 in it.
