tango-papa
It's the end of the (work) week for me! And so, my 'I'm glad it's Friday' drink is a healthy pour of Lot B.Almost thru this bottle with 2 in reserve - may 'need' to grab another to keep my VW stash healthy...
SBOmarc
I have one open and 2 in the bunker, yet I worry that it is not quite sufficient. It borders on the OCD, but that is ok.

HighTower
A couple of premix drinks tonight, Jack & cola (6%) and also some Turkey & Cola (8%). I could tell you what else I've been drinking, but I'm afraid that would give away VBT #54:grin: you'll just have to play to find out!Cheers!Scott
Martian
Woodford Reserve. Not too impressed with it, particularly for the price.

It borders on the OCD, but that is ok.Well, according to my wife, you are pretty much spot-on...For some reason I tend to apply the rule of three(s) - whenever I find something I really like or enjoy, I get three of 'em.My middle name is Alan and she's convinced it's mispelled and is actually a-n-a-l (retentive):slappin:... which I find hilarious. OscarV
The empty part of my Vintage Bourbon 17yo is starting to get to big, so I opened up my Old Grand Dad BIB,... wow, the first sip sent a warm spice burn to my nose. Both the smell and taste has a lot of carmel spiciness.Yeah, I think this will be a Good Friday after all.
Jazzhead
Ah, Friday night is here! Saturday's the night to head out, but Friday I reserve to just hanging out, and part of that is a chance to enjoy some good bourbon at my basement bar. I'm starting out with an Old Fitz BIB, and will next try some WT 101 Old No. 8. The Red Mitchell Trio is warming up the room, too.
Joeluka
I was thinking about all the talk of "hunting for S-W bourbon" and decided I needed some vintage S-W. I'm enjoying 3 oz's of Old Fitz Prime from 1971. I started with a Louisville Weller Cent and I'm thinking I might finish with a Pappy 23 (third bottling). Old Lamplighter
Got a couple of bottles to add to the EBSG tonite. First, finished off the last of my OGD BIB. Next, I proceeded to secure a generous pour of ORVW 10/107 (fortunately, this bottle is only half gone). Last, knocked out the last ounces left in a WTRB/03. Not to worry though, I found a new bottle of same last weekend for an old & probably mis-marked price of $27.49. Most places in Tennessee that I have visited over the last 6 months have RB for no less than $35 + tax. So, even though I went in the store for their last bottle of OCPR/Louisville, just could not pass up the RB for that price as well. Anyhow, all of tonite's selections were great - but the RB has my vote as the best of the group......at least for this evening.
fitzharry
I, too, enjoyed a heavy pour of ORVW 10/107. Yesterday I bought three bottles to add to my stash of now nine bottles of this fine wheated bourbon.
MikeK
Bulleit. $0.99/miniature at the local store. Can't beat that with a stick. It's basically Four Roses in disguise. It makes a particularly good Manhattan. 4 oz. Bulleit, 1oz Vya, 2 drops Fee Bros. bitters, 1/2 marachino cherry. Old Lamplighter
To counter the unseasonably cold night down south here in Tennessee, I loosed a pair of Eagles from the bunker to keep me warm......ERSB90 and ER101.
HighTower
It's cold here too. Some Jack & cola premix, Turkey & Cola premix, WT KY Spirit, Basil Haydens, and Woodford Reserve. Lets see what the night brings....Scott
