HighTower
Oh man, oh man,.... I was afraid you would say that. Now I will have to do a search for a Japanese seller and pay a ton of bucks for one. That bottle is the US Tribute, the Japanese one is in the same bottle as KY Spirit , bottled at 110 proof opposed to the 101 proof with the US bottle.Scott

JDutton
I doubt if my bunker will ever be very large, but I will probably include items that I can't get easily. Isoflex
Bunker!? BUNKER!? (Think Jim Mora)I drink my bunker....don't have enough cash to stock a bunker AND enjoy bourbon. My bunker is 3 bottles of WT RR 101 which I will open for special occasions, hopefully every couple years or so. I envy many of you.
ggilbertva
Oh, I have every intention of drinking every bit of my bunker. For instance, my current bottle of Lot B was a bunker bottle, now it's an open bottle. My bunker is in constant rotation.....one bottle in, one bottle out....maybe two out. Jazzhead
Whiskey is unique in that it can be bunkered, as opposed to beer, the other alcoholic beverage I care about. Beer that isn't fresh quickly becomes terrible. Whiskey keeps - which makes it fun to have 15 or so open bottles, and nipping from them all! ggilbertva
Well, I figured I would update my bunker collection. jburlowski
I don't really bunker much... at least compared to some of the folks here. I purchase mostly to consume. Having said that, I've got a couple of bottles of S-W ORVW, Hirsch 16, PVW 20, and the odd GTS or two set aside.

Phischy
Bringing this back since now I can post in it:BTAC '06:GTS x2SazHandyER17(looking for the Larue Weller)Four Roses:Small BatchSingle Barrel - in TexasSmall Batch Collection:Knob x2 (1 open @ 19.99 this is an everyday pour)Van Winkle:Lot B x2 (1 open)I think a 10yr 107-but it's in Texas15yr-only bottle I've ever seen of this, scored it today (8-13)Old PogueER10 (open)Noah's Mill (open)1792 (open)Mitchner's Rye (open)And from my memory recall that's all I can visualize in the box/cupboard/top of fridge. Thankfully I brew and am generally having a pint off my kegerator vs. a snog of bourbon so this stuff tends to stick around. I do have 1 more bottle in TX my sister got for me on a trip to KY but for the life of me I can't recall what it is.
smokinjoe
Very nice, Phischy. Bunkers in multiple states is very impressive! The next step, when you know you've made it, is to be like Cliff, and establish an off-shore bunker!! :toast: JOE

Phischy
My sister is a fan so if I hear of something in Houston I can always send her out. I'll be bringing those bottles back at christmas time for sure. Thankfully no one other than my mom really likes bourbon but she's a wine gal. My dad hasn't touched the hard stuff since college, likes my beer and is a wood smith in his spare time. He enjoyed the process when we visited BT, esp barrel production. Good thing, as I dragged them 2hrs in the wrong direction on a recent road trip. The plus side to an out-of-state bunker is you won't be dipping into it! I too started off with a respectable yet small bunker. It's now grown to a state that I have a hard time finding places to store the bottles. Keep collecting....it's great having a broad selection of bourbons; especially over varying decades.
