I'm back to an old bottle of Michter's SB 10 Year (1753) from Bardstown. I love this stuff... BB

I'm having some Bonded Very Old Barton tonight... its been a while since I had any of this and I had kind of forgotten how good it really is. I consider it one of the best values on the market.

1992 Old Fitz BIB

SIGHT: Deep amber. Quick forming wide legs

NOSE: Vanilla gives way to alcohol, Wheat sweetness

TASTE: The sweetness is not found immediately, but allows the other flavors to come to the surface. More spice than I expected. Very interesting interplay between the sweetness and the heat.

FINISH: Long fiery finish

Enjoying an early dram this afternoon. Home alone doing some work....got the classical guitar going in the background....poured a nice dram of WTRR 101. Life is good.

Hey....great minds think alike. I'm checking out those two artists you mentioned. I was listening to Mark Bodino and Jonathan Adams.

Weller Antique to start. Parker's Heritage 27yr, now. Talk about two bourbons on absolute opposite ends of the spectrum. These two couldn't be more different. That said, both are fabulous. :yum:

Wild Turkey Rye. For some reason it is hitting me a bit thin tonight. But then the last rye I had was Handy.

I just added a dollop of WTRR 101 to the WT Rye. Probably a 60/40 blend. Boy, did that richen it up! Its real good. I see why some of you guys try different blending experiments.

Several WTRR (new version), feeling good! I even put a splash in the Chasseur Sauce with the pork medalions tonight that made it pop!
