An empty Weller SR has been committed to the recycle bin. I don't empty bottles very often, but this was enjoyable from start to finish.

Just emptied the last of a bottle of Mitchter's Bourbon NAS. I would have a funeral, but nobody would come. Like a de-beaked Fighting Cock.

Some whiskeys grow on you, but this one grew OFF me. I liked it at the sampling bar in the store, but when I got it home every pour was worse than the one before it. Never again.

Pappy 15 is no more. 4 brave soldiers are in the bunker to take his place. No reserves are left on store shelves in my area.... I'm a bit worried.icon9.gif

The last remnants of a BT sitting in my glass. I guess this does not really require support, just another trip to the store.

Nevertheless, I'm happy to have found a pour I'm quite happy with at a good price.

Drained a 1992 EWSB, one of my favorite iterations of this expression. Got one more (I think) somewhere in the bunker, and then... sigh.

Eagle Rare 10yr left me today. Glad I can get it local, I like this stuff alot.

Know what you mean Dean. I have one that's getting very close to falling in the recycle bin. Whenever I find ER 10/90 on sale, I pick up a bottle. I am fortunate to have five in the bunker. Joe

Filed my taxes yesterday and celebrated getting it done by finishing a bottle of Pappy 23...I don't have a backup and am trying to be conservative during this first part of the year, so it may be a while before it gets replaced. But I enjoyed every last drop!

Just finished my bottle of EC 12. I thought it was excellent, especially for the price, and I'll be buying another bottle or two soon.

Plowed through the rest of my Old Crow 10/86 '68 with reckless abandon. I had imagined this one being open for a while and myself savoring a pour every now and then...unfortunately, it didn't work that way...I had a little taste tonight and took off running...my last pour is in the snifter right now, I will relish it, rest assured, but this one's outta here.

Probably won't see the likes of this one again :(

This may sound sinful to some but it worked beautifully - i had a near empty bottle of VW10yo 101proof (about 4 pours left) and i was saddened to see how quickly i'd drunk it so to extend its beautiful flavours the best i could i had a half bottle of EC12yo and i poured this into the VW10yo. Both mixed to become an incredible flavour! it was like the VW gave the EC a fuller flavour.

So now i have finished both bottles :frown: but it was a great way to make it go further... :yum::grin::crazy::cool:

Last night I killed off an ORVW 10/107. I have 6 bunkered but they go too fast as it's my go to pour. I can't find any more Van Winkles in my area either. Shortages suck! Make more for crying out loud!!

Weller 12.... Binnys bottle.... I should have grabbed more of this before they stopped shipping to VA......

Same problem here, Binny's has never shipped to MI so I used to get stuff from Sam's, now they stopped shipping to MI also.

A bottle of Weller SR hit the bin tonight. I have one in the bunker and more arriving shortly. I liked this bourbon well enough from the first bottle I bought. Still, it's grown on me even more. Mmmmmmmmmm. Joe
