I have a bottle of the Tun 1401 #3 but passed when I had a chance to get the Madeira cask though and now I'm regretting it. I have the 17 year Rum finish and 17 year Peated but that Madeira would have been nice to add as well.

That said, I'd take the Tun every time between the two if I could only have one.Maybe I'll bring the bottle if we ever have a Seattle get-together. Though now I'm really wishing I had picked that bottle up for $107 when I had the chance, instead I bought the Glenfiddich 21 year which while very tasty to me, is not exactly in short supply... doh!A Seattle get together would be fun as there seems to be quite a few from the area on here. I'd have to break out some of my bunkered bottles though my selection is not quite as nice as some on here.
OscarV
I don't have anything trendy from the hip craft distilleries (because I like mature aged whiskies) or anything from the "big boyz" that is in a fancy package (nice package but I can't drink it and I'd rather spend the money elsehwere). But here's what's open now. ChainWhip
Oscar- I've seen that sherried WT but didn't get it at the time. What's your thoughts on it?(Just wondering if I should kick myself for not buying it)
OscarV
Oscar- I've seen that sherried WT but didn't get it at the time. What's your thoughts on it?(Just wondering if I should kick myself for not buying it)It's good but frustrating. It is as advertised, "Made with 10 year old bourbon, finished in sherry casks, enhanced with Oloroso Sherry"That is exactley how it tastes, it's good, I like it.But here's the frustrating part, the 10yo bourbon that they used is very very good, you can pick it out in tasting it and it makes me want to scream,....I wish I could have gotten a case or two of it without the sherry in it!!
