I was looking at this thread and noticed that I hadn't posted here in a while, so I thought I'd take a look and see what I had open. I've got my usual mix of BIB's and wheaters open right at the moment, but a while back, I decided to open a couple different ones for a change. So here's my list.

Non bourbon's..... usually for my son or some bowling buddy's.

Canadian Club

Crown Royal

Jack Daniel's

Jack Daniels Silver Select (for me:cool:)

Bourbon's

Heaven Hill White Label 6 yr BIB

J.T.S. Brown BIB

1985 ND Old Grand Dad 86 proof

Old Weller Antique

Pappy 15

Pappy 20

Weller Centennial BHC

Weller 12

Wild Turkey Export 8/101

Very Special Old Fitzgerald BHC

Vintage 17 (wheated)

Some of these might linger open on the shelf for a while, others may not. Y'all know how it is.

Cheers! Joe

Alright, so I pulled together the list of what I have opened right now and I have to admit that I may have a problem:) When I started down the path of trying to figure out what I like so that I could say I like this and that, I didn't know it was going to turn into an obsession of wanting to try everything in a very short amount of time. I have way too many bottles and at the rate and amount that I'm drinking, it'd take many many many years to even come close to finishing these! I'll have to find a better way to share. I am obviously not sharing enough of them.

hn4 I suggest you open the Barton and Grand Dad(s) next.

Squire, no doubt! I'm excited to open the Barton because i really enjoy the 86 proof version. I'm confident I'll enjoy the 90 proof as well. I have been searching for the OGD114 for a while and was able to pick up a few in a recent business trip. So, those are very likely the next two that I would open:)

Six months ago when I first came over from the "dark side" I would have one or two bottles ope+ at a time. Most of those were $50 + up because I assumed price = taste. Then a month ago I joined SB and thanks to many of you my opens currently are:

EC12, 4RSBLE 2012, WP, Balcones Rumble, ETL, Bulleit Bourbon, GD12, BT, Old Weller Antique, WLWSR, KCR, WTRB, Larceny, VOB90, Bernheim Smb.

Not pictured are my daily open pours of AAA10S, EWBIB, 4RYL, and a bottle of BMH that I am trying to empty.

Is that the cask strength version? If so, could you PM your source? I've been looking all over for that one.

CW, not sure but will check it out when I get home this evening and get back to you

Yeah, that's the Rumble Cask Reserve. The regular Rumble has a yellowish label, I think.

Indeed it does. I have one of the regular with the yellow label and although it is "interesting" and certainly different it is not my favorite despite being a rum/cane spirits enthusiast. Perhaps the CS is an improvement.

Yes it's the cask strenght and it is really, really, really good. I'll stop by my dealer tomorrow and see if he has any left.
