OscarV
The drive to work and back today felt like snow boarding, busting thru the drifts. Don't ask about the in between. But everything's OK now, yep, that's right, I done went and done it.I reached down and pulled out a William Larue Weller 2007 from the bunker.Sipping it neat, yes, there may be a God afterall. ILLfarmboy
Had some ORVW 10 107 the night before last. I've been trying not to dip into my stash of this bottling since it has been impossible to come by in my area. Oh.... but it was soooo gooood. smokinjoe
A little bit of this...A little bit of that...WT12 Split Label, Woodford, and 2008 Parker's Heritage 122.6. Some other stuff in there, too. All are dang good. As would be expected, the Parker's and Split were awesome, but the Woodford held up well. Call me crazy, but I like that funky nose on it.But, when all is said and done, the Parker's is Very Special.
p_elliott
Tonight so far has been a flight of birds WTKS, WTRB, and WT 12 Yo split label. I love the nose on the 12 yo smells like a rickhouse.

PAspirit1
With some help from my brother-in-law, my bottle of Russel Reserve Rye 90 is disappearing fast. I think it is a very good whiskey. I think both of the RR labels might be ideal starter whiskeys for some people.

theDon
I scored a six pack of OC 12 750s and knocked down a third a bottle last night. I think I will try to kill it off this weekend. That stuff is so good. Just a pleasent soft bourbon with loads of flavor. My last shot of the night was straight outa the bottle.

That was the reason they gave for changing the proof at any rate.
ggilbertva
Scanning over the open bottle collection, I settled on an '06 AAA 10 year. I love that stuff....loads of flavor even at 86pf. After that, a delicious '95 OWA gold vein.

p_elliott
I decided to expand my whiskey experience so I thought I would venture into Irish whiskey. Tonight I picked up a bottle of Jameson 12 yo on my first pour. I like this, very fruity apples I think.

nor02lei
I did just come home from a 3-day journey late last night. A bit of a nightmare due to the fact that many trains are cancelled in behalf of the winter that is worse than we have had in many decades. The reason for the trip was for me and Yvonne to attend and cook for her oldest doters co-habitee 30-years party. It was of cause moonshine on the party as usual at 30 years party’s in Sweden. But I did bring a litre bottle of WT 8 and a 20 cl pocket bottle of OGD 114 as well. All of the bourbon got drunk up. The last drops on the 2 hours late train back home.Leif
