I said goodbye to a bottle of PVW 15yr last night. I have one more bunkered but will refrain from opening it for as long as possible.

If you can go more than a week you deserve a medal.

I also have an unopened 20yr. I've had it for a few weeks now and haven't touched it!

4R SB into the recycler. No recipe listed but tasty. Reinforcements on the way with ten bottles of TPS 4R single barrels on the way. One per recipe.

Everett's ERSB, EH Taylor SB BIB, and a liter of Old Forester DSP 354/414 were all vanquished the past couple of weeks. I'm down to five bottles of bourbon open at the moment. I'm just about ready to open up a few bottles. Having a hard time deciding whether to open a few Wellers, or some Van Winkles. Leaning towards Van Winkles. Had a nice pour of VWFRR tonight, courtesy of Vosgar.

Just said goodbye to my PHC wheated version, my favorite, it only lasted a couple of weeks.

Thank goodness I have one more left.

ETL got sacked in first quarter of the Broncos-Steelers playoff game. Fortunately, there was a nearly-full bottle of WT 101 rye to come off the bench.

Time for a 2012 thread? I recently emptied a handle of Old Charter 10, but I'm not really looking for any "support".

Just polished off a 2008 GTS. My first post on this forum was the day I bought this bottle and I've had it open way too long. I didn't truly appreciate this whiskey until I got over my obsession with drinking everything neat and cut it with a bit of water. I can actually taste the bourbon and not just the alcohol. I need to grab the 2008 I saw for $60 a few months back.

I would hunt for a 2009 or above GTS. Those whiskeys are a lot better than the 2008 bottling, in my opinion. That said, $60 bucks is a bargain!

Interesting. I know of 2008 and 2006 on shelves in the area, but I rarely see current releases. I did see some this year, but I was unwilling to pay the $80 to $90 it currently goes for. Luckily, I did grab one 2008 for $60 that I gave to my brother for Chistmas.
