Four Roses Cork & Keg Private Selection OESO headed to the recycling bin.

This must not have been a big seller up in Braselton, because I've seen some at other shops around town with the Cork & Keg portion of the private selection label sliced off.

finished off a pappy van winkle 15, four roses small batch, and glenmorangie 10 in recent weeks. looking to finish off a lot of my open bottles and get everything more manageable. The PVW 15 was great, of course. The Glen 10 was surprising; I've read on John Hansell's blog that it has a lot of the Glenmorangie Astar, which is part of what makes it so good, but the Astar on its own is hard to find nowadays...

EWSB 2000 and a FRSB are history this week. Need to get another FRSB and I have three more EWSB 2000's stashed.

Jefferson's Presidential Select (17-y-o, bottled 1991, etc.) finished off last night (tasty, a little woody) so I can open the new line-jumper in my wheater queue, a Pappy 15.

It's been since Friday, but I'm still grieving. We killed:

Pappy 15 (2009)

Caol Ila 6 yr CS (Binny's selection)

Four Roses Single Barrel (Schneider's of Capitol Hill selection - one of my faves)

You're a machine Sky...how long do you think the recently aquired FR's and Willett's will last you seeing as those are only 750's? ;)

Those are just appetizers....

Just finished Four Roses 100th anniversary I got in Bardstown last April.

I really liked this bottle.

I am getting this year's bottling as a gift I hope it is a good.

I also finished a bottle of WLW antique 2010 collection last week.

I have to say that this is one of my favorite pours.

I really enjoy this.

I have one more of this and a bottle from this year I have not cracked open yet.

Just polished off a bottle of OWA. This pour can be

too hot for me on a fresh palate, but once I'm warmed up, I love this stuff.

Just finished off a bottle of 2011 Sazerac 18. It was good, but not anywhere near what I had anticipated. It will be a long time before I consider opening the last bottle I have of it. Too many others that I would prefer to drink. I actually find the Thomas H Handy to be more enjoyable.

So far this week:

1 FR 2010 SB LE 100th.

1 FR 2011 SmB LE.

1 Willet Rye 3yr.

1 Barclay's 80proof Pint from late 70's.

1 VWFRR.

I'm trying to get my open bottles to under 20. It takes work.

I finally killed off a bottle of age stated OWA. Not the best bottle that I've had, and am glad to see this one go (in a weird twist the final pour had that great vanilla/caramel flavor that I had been looking for in the rest of the bottle but couldn't find).
