Halifax
Now that's what I'm talking about.Funny thing. There were only 2 bottles of rye sitting on the shelf with the lone PVW 15 & 20. I was about to check out, and then asked... "Do you guys happen to have any more bottles of Van Winkle?" The clerk got on the computer and discovered 4 more bottles of VWFRR. A few minutes later they were on the counter next to the others. Glad I remembered to ask!

PappyVW23
haven't seen any posts of people picking up any single oak project bottles. Picked up 4 today ($60each) and a whistlepig. don't plan on getting many of these, too expensive and too many. Seem really hard to come by around here though. Left about six of them on the shelf if anyone around annapolis wants them. Bay ridge wine and spirits. They had a lot of good stuff on the shelf including a hirsch 16! Gotta go back and pick up one of those jefferson 18's they had. http://bayridgewine.com/
PappyVW23
funny, i googled the hirsch 16 and found this old thread where they were complaining about the $70 price. pretty funny in hindsight.http://www.bourbonreviews.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=
smokinjoe
Ya know, I just had a hankerin' to pick up a replacement bottle for my recently departed Bulleit Rye. I'll usually pick just about any bourbon/rye up once, particularly, if it's cheap. This ain't necessarily "cheap"...$28 around here, but it's worth a second bottle. This is a nice little whiskey. Young, bright, distinctive, sparkley....Actually, it's...fun. Yeah, this is a fun whiskey. Perfect for Summer, as I think about it.
PappyVW23
haven't seen the rye around here yet. But they have the bourbon on sale for $14!

BradleyC
I picked up a packaged deal with a handle of WT101 and a 2 liter of Coke for $32. The handle without the coke was $34 and the 750 was $20. Seemed like a good enough deal to me.

MissinER101
In my running around today I stopped in a Hy-Vee grocery, they have the best bourbon selection in town, I wasn't really looking for anything. BUT I found a bottle of van Winkle Special Reserve 12 year old "lot B" :woohoo: It was their last of 3 they got in yesterday, I had given up hope. The liquor manager called the other 3 stores and found 1 more bottle, also the last of 3 and that store said they would hold it for me for 30 min, thought I was going to get a ticket getting there
