Thanks to yountvillewjs, I now own another 2011 GTS and WLW (mentioned a few posts ago), then I also added a Taylor Tornado. Lucky to have friends that are willing to share.

Am in Las Vegas this weekend, and stopped by one of the Total Wine locations yesterday. Picked up a bottle of St. George's "Breaking & Entering" Bourbon, and Hood River's "Pendelton 1910" 12 year-old rye.

Just had four Weller 12's delivered to my door by the nice Fed Ex guy along with some computer parts. "Looks like you are gonna have yourself a happy Friday," he said to me.

Yes, yes I am!

Not bourbons, but I picked up a Corsair Artisan 100% Aged Rye and a Triple Smoke Whiskey directly from the distillery. I toured the place today, and enjoyed conversing with the knowledgeable staff. It is exciting to know there is a local craft distillery experimenting with new whiskey mash bills and ideas.

I tasted these products at the distillery, and know I am in for a treat when I crack them open.

4 bottles of WT Rye 101 and one bottle of Ritt BiB. The last on the shelf.

Picked up 2 bottles of Jefferson's Presidential Select 17 Year Old, Batch 2.

Nice find... good batch....

Well, I finally caved in today. Though I am not sure why, except I figured it is a shame that there was this bottle of Pappy 20 sitting there that I could buy, that others are trying so hard to find, that is seems wrong to just leave it sitting there.

So, even though I am not sure when I will actually crack it open, I figured if I do like it, I would be kicking myself later if I didn't buy it when I had an opportunity,.

So, for the time being, I will bunker it away.

I happened across a Jefferson's Reserve Presidential Select 18 yr today. This bottle will go perfectly beside my JRPS 17, picked up from the same location a while back.

Just saw another store locally that had three bottles still on the shelf for 134 a piece.

I grabbed a Kentucky Vintage Bourbon for 17 today that was obviously mismarked.

That's a lot better than here in MI, many have it on their shelves, price is $150 along with the 27 year $200. I just haven't brought myself to buying one.

Not a purchase, but I just recieved the current OFBB for my birthday, looking forward to comparing it with the 2004 bottle I opened last night.

I am curious to hear which one version you enjoy more. I haven't open my bottle of 2011 OFBB yet.

Technically not a bourbon, but came home to a surprise birthday party after dinner and this was my cake.

Tell whomever did that for you, that some dude in Georgia thinks that is the coolest thing he's ever seen in 8 years on these boards. Somebody must really likes you. Lucky man, you.

And, Happy Birthday!

Agreed. I showed my fiance the photo and told her that the bar has been set for my next birthday...she told me to go marry a baker.
