I feel your pain, man. People around here buy it by the case x 3 here and I haven't seen it since it first hit in August. I ended up just ordering some over the phone and paying a premium.

Spec's has bumped the regular 12 up to $30 when it was $26.

Thanks to a fellow SBer, my first bottle of ECBP arrived today.

I'll be raising a glass to Pudski tonight!

Maybe I'm a sucker, but I think regular EC12 is still easily worth $33. Just a great value all-around.

Actually, I agree. I think EC12 is definitely a premium and an under priced one compared to these NDP posers.

Well, I also agree,EC12 has been a staple bourbon for me,and as stated under priced,but... that's going to soon be rectified.Too bad.

It probably is underpriced at $25 or whatever. Haven't checked the shelves here lately to see what it is, as it's not one I reach for too often, even if I do like it. More often than not I'm grabbing a 4R SmB or 1B in that price range.

One of the two big chains in the DFW area has upped EC12 to over $30, while the other still has it at $26. Guess it may be time to stock up before that changes.

It's interesting how varied the price can be. I was at TPS over the weekend and it was $27.99+tax

Here in Ohio, $23.15 and that's out the door, tax included

Yeah, I passed at one Spec's the other day for $31.99, picked it up at a Total Wine for $26.00, only to find it at a different Spec's for $23.99 today.

The 12yr is still $21.99 here in AZ... of course, it's out of stock till Nov.

Ok . . . I am thoroughly confused. For the second time in a week, I was THRILLED to get my hands on another ECBP. And for the second time in a week, I thought it would be batch 4 . . . only to have it be 133.2 proof!! I'm so confused (which should not be confused with disappointed - any ECBP is better than no ECBP!)

I was graced with a text from a fellow SBer asking me if I would like an ECBP as he came across 2. Of course the answer was yes, and true to GA form, batch 3. Crazy that this could hit the shelves in such quantity considering batch 3 was on the ground here several months back as well. Seems like someone somewhere has been playing games with ECBP in GA.

A bottle of batch 3 finally found me, while I was picking up some of the regular Elijah Craig 12. I hope this becomes a regular release so it is easier to find. I would also like the regular version to be non-chill filtered. I think 46% abv is the magic number where it is supposed to work. Maybe that's dreaming.

Nice catch...but unlike batch #1 if taking the same pic, you'd be hard pressed to see your fingers throw the glass bottle. #4 is a bit lighter in color. Regardless, nice find. Is that a ECBP selfie?

I also just got a bottle of batch 3 in Atlanta (my store got 3 bottles of it in about a week ago). $50.

batch 2.........................................

Now that we're seeing so many "batch 3" hitting the market, is it possible there is a newer batch at 133.2 in addition to batch 3???

You may have seen or be thinking of batch 4 at 132.4 or there are some gift shop versions at other proofs. Otherwise AFAIK:

1--134.2

2--137

3--133.2 (66.6%-the "Devil's Batch")

4--132.4

Yeah, I'm wondering if a "batch 5" might also be 133.2 (probably not, I know, but it seems strange to see so much of batch 3 just now hitting stores)
