Maybe it's just my eyes, but I feel like batch 4 is the first one I've gotten that is a bit lighter in color than the rest. Anybody else notice that too?

Finally getting a bottle of this. Have not seen it in our area for the past year and my local store just sent out an e-mail that they've received some bottles so I reserved one. Pretty big fan of EC overall and looking forward to this one.

ABC VA has upped the price to $50. Tough to find with seemingly lower allocations per store than last year. Store near me last year got 6 bottles of batch one. This year...3 bottles total. Oh, oh.

I got lucky and showed up to a local store when they got a case. No price, but they told us $40s. Rang up at $50 as well. I'm hoping to see some others at some of the other area stores over the next couple weeks.

Similar things happening in UT. Price went from 40+tax to 45+tax. And I'm pretty sure we only got the 1st and 2nd release.

At $45, I'm a buyer, still a great value. The $50 mark for this is when I don't automatically buy and start looking at the possibility of alternatitives.

For the quality of the juice and barrel proof high octane bottled, I see it as reasonable to pay up to $50-$60. But again, that is for the quality found in batches 1-3. It will be interesting to see how the quality stands up moving forward from batch 4. Regardless, the initial MSRP of $40 will go down as a legendary value.

I didn't see Batch 1 or 3 in Indy. I did snag a Batch 2. I like it. I would happily pay $45 for Batch 4.

Ok, so either I should take distributors/retailers words with a grain of salt as far as accuracy, and/or I misheard the rep say "140 proof" as "114 proof"

but today it came in and I picked up some EC12BP and it is 132.4 proof.

I dunno how you actually tell which batch is which but I would assume this is from the most recent batch.

Very happy to have tracked this down.

Surdyk's in Minneapolis had six bottles on the shelf when I walked in. First time I have seen any in MN. 133.2 proof.

Mine just arrived turned out it was batch 3 not 4. So guess it was in a warehouse for a bit. So thing actually leaked a few oz in shipping over the course of one day. anyone ever have any EC cork fail. Is it the neck and mouth shape? Whole box and my cubical smell really great right now though

Ya, within NYC the prices have been $49.99 - $64.99......more leaning towards the $60 range. I know that other places get it at a lower prices but i have yet to see any cheaper then that around these parts.
