Was able to spend some time south of the river yesterday and picked up a bottle of Pure Kentucky (not available in OH or MI). Also picked up a 1.75 of OWA, which in and of itself isn't entirely noteworthy, except that these 1.75s came from a barrel that sat for an extra two years because it was part of a barrel pick that never materialized.

Are you talking about Cork N' Bottle? I called them two days ago and they told me that they were sold out of that special OWA barrel. I was actually thinking about driving down there just to bunker a few.

Picked up a bottle of bonded Grand Dad for $11.49. Didn't need a resupply, just couldn't pass up a bargain.

Thanks to the kind assistance from a fellow SBer yesterday I picked up a couple of Old Forester Signature, a baby Saz and this dusty old bourbon that probably got left in the barrel too long because it is 27years old from somebody named Parker...

Stopped back at a store where I purchased a '10 ER17 a few weeks ago and to my surprise they restocked the shelf, this time with an '08 Er17

A WTKS for next week's AWS meeting, and another Ritt BIB 354 for the stash.

Nice look on that ER17 stash Michael! And great pickup on that PHC 27.

Thankfully I've got some fun stuff in the pipeline, or else I might feel like "Everyone is laughing and riding and cornholing, except Buster."

ER 10yr. While not a particular noteworthy bourbon on it's own, this one is a store pick that I got to participate in the tasting panel.

So, pretty special to me in that regards. Plus, they decided to put this one in 1.75's instead of the standard 750's.

You have to admit, this is one good looking large bottle on the bar!

Do you mind sharing how much you paid for the 27? I have seen a couple around the Atlanta area but they are very over-priced. I would love to add one of these and also the Cognac finished Parkers to my collection.

What prices have you been seeing? I've been looking (mostly East Atlanta) but haven't seen any for any price.

It is a great looking bottle but just hard to find a cabinet that's tall enough to fit the bottle. But, like you said, it looks good on the bar!

In "most" stores it only fits on the top shelf.

Where are youse ATL guys scoring the 4R 2013 SB? Weeks ago I called the distributor, I left contact info at 2 stores and no one seems to know anything about it, I haven't been to a store yet that has seen it this season so clearly I am shopping in the wrongs places.

It came and went in a week over a month ago. Supply was very tight. Barrel customers (stores, restaurants) only got a 6pak each. Everyone else got less.

Picked up an EC18 yesterday. This is the second bottle I've found from a Rivers Casino selected barrel that was at a mom and pop liquor store. Barreled in 1990, it's well worth the $54 IMHO
