I wanted it empty so I can refill it from a bottle of A. Smith Bowman Bourbon I bought a few years ago (and sold half to my son, Gary). He'll be up from Marietta in a few weex, then he'll be able to take his half-bottle of this fabulous juice (IMHO) home with him. FYI I like the FC pretty well for fairly reasonable dollars. Some of the best I've had came from S-W and one of the worst I've had came from S-W (and it was not a dusty-gone-bad.) Modern producers find it more profitable to use higher barrel entry proof and just age it longer but it's not the same, you can't fool Mother Nature. Tonight, cracked open a bottle of Old Forester signature that I picked up in NH when I was driving through (haven't seen the signature in MA). Not too expensive, not too complicated. I know there are mixed reviews about the second release, but I really can't find much difference between the 134.2 and the 137. And of course the new release I've not seen yet in Kentucky.
