callmeox
Is it Friday, yet? Good gosh this has been a week...sittin' out back under the propane heater (even though this 42 degrees is feeling like 72 after the temps earlier this week) with a nice pour of Maker's and a Rocky Patel Vintage 1990, and looking forward to getting through mañana. What's the Sheltie having? :grin:I'm fresh out of cough syrup, so I've substituted some 2007 BTAC Weller. So far so good.

She gnawed on the bone from the Vegetable beef soup we made. It's why I decided on a stogie to pass the time. '07 WLW is good medicine. I've moved on to a swanky pour of Rock Hill Farms. black mamba
Had me some wheat tonight-- 50/50 blend of W12 and 1843, really tasty.
smokinjoe
Finishing up the evening with a gorgeous pour of a Wild Turkey 86.8 proof. So, you say WT can't make a good whiskey under 101 proof, huh???? I'm thinkin' they can, cuz after drinking this one for the last several years, I know they can even make a great one under 91 proof...
TVojtko
Going wheat, as well...Makers then Makers 46.They are both damn near close to the end of the bottle and I'm trying to clear space, but I've already replaced the M46, although there are a few others that will be opened before the reserve bottle reclaims a spot on the shelf. JPBoston
My buddy and I have a semi-regular routine of picking up a few 50ml shooters at the local gas station before playing bball.Think they had a new arrival (unless I had previously missed it)... WT101. Forgot how solid this is, with almost even amounts of spice and sweetness. I had been stuck with Beam White as the only option (yeck).Sent from my XT907 using Tapatalk
Harry in WashDC
As you read this, Bowman Bros SB. I do the laundry in our house, and my bourbon is just above the laundry supplies. Always plan ahead.
smknjoe
I had my usual last night and a mystery sample marked #1 from the Abominable Snowman. Still not sure what that was. I was sure it was 4R at first, but after a while I wasn't so sure anymore. Edited January 10, 2014 by smknjoe
Ravensfire
A bit of Colonel E H Taylor small batch while listening to my business users try to cram more work into a change I'm working on when the existing work is already too much for the deadline. Sigh ... "Surely this won't take much more work to add in, right?"Yes, yes it will. <refill glass>-- Ravensfire
iDoc
Last evening was a night of epic pours. BMH 18 rye, Vintage 23, BMH 16 bourbon, Ritt Rye 25, AH Hirsch 16, and PHC 3rd Golden Anniversary. Needless to say, bar had an unbelievable selection.
smknjoe
Was the BMH 16 the small batch or single barrel? I have some of the small batch and it's very good, but I can't say that I would buy more at that price.

Red One
Just poured the last drops from my only bottle of FRSmB, as noted in the empty bottle thread. Moving on to FR1B, but need to make sure I keep more of that SmB in my bunker.

Old Dusty
OFBB '13. Only bought the one based upon recs from SB. Should have listened closer to all of you and bought more when it was available. The nose got all of the raves, but this is damn fine bourbon all the way through.
jeffrey r
First, some ETL 15 Yr. Liquid caramel. Then, some KCSB Fred Noe selection. Even with the private bottling, I am finding I am just not a huge fan of KCSB. Not bad by any means, but not a fav.
