Another crazy Friday night. Had a pour of the Hancock's Private Reserve while closing, and now I'm trying to decide where to go. I feel like AAA10 and ETL might not be what I'm looking for after such a silky mellow treat. Think I'll change families and have a glass of Dickel 12.

OESV - it's really good as expected. The Four Roses descriptions of the different recipes seem to be accurate so far.

What a week it was. Felt good to wind down and sip some last night. And sip some I did! Had a glass of wine, then 3oz of Blanton's, then 3oz of ETL, then 3oz of ER10. It all tasted sooooo good, though. One of those nights.

Was a good night last night, Started with some OFBB13, then WLW13, Went out to eat and had Saz18, then PVW20 for a night cap back home.

Was a good day!

So, its the beginning of the NO-Seattle game and Mrs. Fish pulls out a handle of VOB. (Yes. I have a wife who loves football and bourbon! And fly fishing.) I didn't have the heart to tell her that VOB has gone NAS and I had planned to ration the VOB. We are down to the last 1/4 of the handle but we are already enjoying the VOB. When it's gone, it's gone.

a fun day of wiring work, and now enjoying some Dickel 9 before going out to celebrate a friend's b-day. I've never been to the place she wants to go, hope they have something interesting or new to try.

So, I broke the news to Mrs. Fish about VOB going NAS. She put the handle back in the cabinet.

"We'll save this for a SBS with the new NAS," she said. She has a better, and prettier, nose and palate than I do so I'm actually looking forward to her reaction to the new VOB. (Well, not really. I'd just as soon not go through this exercise.)

I bet you wont notice a change for a year or so. Grab one of the new ones, and if it tastes the same, go clear the same shelf of it all....because it wont for long, I imagine
