4R1B, just the standard bottling, that Mr. Rutledge had signed for me back in '12. Glad to have cracked it, and not sure why I don't reach for the reg 1B more often.

Good effort, Saints! Seattle is looking good. I just poured a bit of RR90, but noticed that my open bottle of FR1B is down to a single pour. Will have to take care of that tonight.

This must be FR1B night. I started with a 1:1 blend of FRSmB and FRSB1. Decided to finish off the bottle of FRSB1 with a healthy pour while I watch the Colts-Patriots game.

I've been sick and not drinking, but since this is day 4 and I'm still not any better that obviously isn't working. Going with a pour of Hancock's to chase the sickness away.

Got home too late to report on last nights pours so I'll report for two nights in one post. Had the office winter party last night at a bar/ballroom with an open bar for the first 1.5 hours. Not a lot of options in the open bar so I tried the 1776 rye because it was free and I'd never had it. Not bad (assuming it's cheap). After the open bar transitioned to wine and beer only, I made my way over to the full bar next door and got a William Larue Weller in all it's barrel proof glory. Much better!

Started to watch the Seahawks game this afternoon just as the power went out. We went to a local bar and grill with TV's and power to watch the game. Very limited selection, but they had Wild Turkey 101 which I've never tried so I got that. Kind of hard to appreciate in a shot glass, but I liked it enough to give it another proper try when I get the chance.

Back home with power and drinking some Lot B to celebrate the Hawks win. It's a lot better now than when I first opened it two weeks ago. Will finish the celebration later with some PVW15.

Enjoying my first pour of the 2013 FRSmBLE. Amazingly easy to drink. It's going to be tough making this bottle last after all the effort it took to find it.

Another pour of the 12 yr OESV, this stuff is superb with just a dash of water. Makes me want a cigar.

A Four Roses night for a lot of folks! I have continued with Four Roses as well. My last pour of the night will be TPS OESK, 116 proof.

That sounds nice, 116 should be just about perfect for neat. How old is it?

New guy here. Today I'm comparing Larceny and MM. Interesting to note the differences. By the way, I prefer the Larceny.

Been a little under the weather this week and decided to stick my toe back in and give the W12 a go tonight. Thank God, W12 has never tasted better.

Same as last night...Co. EH Taylor small batch. Really enjoying this...hadn't had it in months until just recently. Wish I could get this where I live...

Having some OWA-W12-WLW (45-45-10) blend that's been open for about 3 months. So so good. Unfortunately I have no more WLW so this one is officially a self-created dusty.

Started off with a little Larceny. This baby just shines more and more to me every time I drink it. Now, ratcheting up the HH Proof-o-Meter with a pour of ECBP Batch 1.

I have to say each time you mention Larceny recently it makes me want to revisit it. I've never had my own bottle but have taken it to a few get togethers as a guaranteed crowd pleaser. I have really liked it but I've never given it air bc I've always opened it that night and left it where I was hanging out

Welcome from a fellow Georgian. Interested to hear your opinion of the differences between MM and Larceny. They are not in my typical rotation

Went out with a large group for a friend's b-day, and they had a reasonably priced and fairly well optioned bourbon selection. I thought I would give Four Roses another chance, and ordered a 4RSmB neat. I know I am going to get slammed for this, but I just do not get it. To me, its like bourbon steeped in rose petals with a little licorice thrown in. It was between this and MM46. I wish Id gone with the MM46. Normally, Id have gone with the Bookers, but I have that at home already

Dude I was right with you for the longest time. Just couldn't make myself like anything FR. It was just too floral for me. Then one day the light bulb just went off. All of the sudden I got this pronounced spiced honey flavor that I just couldn't get enough of. In the past 3 months I have bought about 15 bottles of various FR recipes and limited edition stuff. I just can't get enough and it's some of my favorite stuff out there.
