Red One
Visited a nice whiskey bar tonight and found one bourbon that I had not had before - Jefferson's 21. Enjoyed that pour plus several others that were familiar.

Paddy
Two fat fingers of ETL in my wheelhouse tonight. Bought this bottle just prior to Christmas and its been off profile for me. Hope its not a sign...
Old Dusty
Yeah I really liked the 2012. And the nose on the 2013 is just fantastic but it falls apart for me after that. Maybe I need a good cigar to pair with it ;-)I am firmly in the 2013 camp. Thought it was one of the top limited releases last year. Nose and all. BFerguson
HHSS tonight.Between getting the butt kicked at work, and the insult of more snow to blow when I got home, topping at a total of 54 inches so far this year, its been the only good thing of my day.B
jeffrey r
I love the '13 OFBB, but I find that a little water opens it up nicely, and makes it a little less old forester-y, if you will. If it is not doing it for you neat, you might try a bit of water. As for me, had some of black mamba's Booker's/KCSB blend, 2:1, which was nice and greater than the sum of its parts I think. 393foureyedfox
I was all wound up and preparing to have my ass handed to me for my first comprehensive nursing exam over the whole program, and was happy to get a strong grade on it after all. So afterward, I ran some errands, got a haricut, and had some fish n chips at an irish pub and thought, with all the WT talk in the threads lately, that I'd give that a shot again, neat. Honestly, I found it rather enjoyable.Later, I met the wife for dinner before an irish concert, and it turned out to be one of those foo-foo places with like 7 things on the menu and all were overpriced and didn't sound good to me anyway, so I literally drank my dinner of Old Fitz BIB, neat. Then, at the concert, I was still a bit would up from the whole day, and went to get something at the bar. Just the usual suspects, so I got a Makers, neat, again, because all the talk lately. Not bad, somewhat of a candied vegetal note to it on entry that I couldnt figure out, but a decent aftertaste.Toda'ys pours, I rate as 1, WT1012, OFitzBIB3, MM
jersey12
A healthy pour of FRSmBLE 13 for me tonight after a couple long days at the office. Can't say enough good things about this one. Wish I had more than just this one bottle.

BFerguson
Finishing the day with a bit of PHC Golden. I think tonight I'm giving the win to the Golden. It's a close race, but its given more tonight of what I want.B

flahute
I am firmly in the 2013 camp. Thought it was one of the top limited releases last year. Nose and all.I also really enjoyed the heck out of this one. It was my first ever limited release/premium bottle purchase and lived up to expectations. I wish I had known better at the time and purchased the other two bottles on the shelf behind the one I grabbed.
brettckeen
A friend gave me a bottle of standard 4R SB. Having a taste, so used to the barrel strength selections that I find this 100 proofer weak and young, but still solid for it's price and availability. DrBob
Been on travel for work and brought a 375 of Old Forester 75th Anniversary of prohibition for my nightly pour. Really nice whiskey, heavy on butterscotch, and made the hotel room a bit more tolerable.
Hawg73
Bought a bottle of Breckenridge bourbon as I had read some of the reviews and wanted to see what I thought. I have to admit, it was pretty good. Lot's of rye. Their website has the mashbill:56% Yellow Corn, 38% Green Rye, 6% Unmalted Barley. A little expensive for my tastes, but overall not a bad experience. GreggJ
I've been trying to finish of some of my open bottles. Been treating myself to the last 3rd of my JPS 17 which has been open for a couple years. This stuff is simply heavenly from nose to finish. I wish I had purchased more. Where is that darn time machine....
